The apartment wasn't made up when we arrive at 4.45pm. We rang and about this and were given a discount to go for dinner while the the room was cleaned. Upon returning the room had been cleaned but the remote for the underground carpark was missing (which we also reported) so we had to park on the street both nights. The apartment could have been a 5/5 but it simply wasn't presented as well as the price that was charged....it was a bit like my teenage son cleaned it. There was open food in the pantry cupboard, no soap or shampoo in the dispensers and any spare linen was bunched up in the wardrobe. This includes all the nice throw pillows and bed 'runners' that make the space look really styled, like in the pictures online. Add to that the balcony/bbq wasn't usable due to maintenance scaffolding. The location is amazing and the apartment would be 10/10 if it were properly cleaned and appointed. It made us feel like we were staying in someones space while they were out for the weekend.
