Central location with the basics
Host was friendly, helpful & communicative in advance of stay. Mid-terraced house close to city center & train and metro stations. On-street parking tight, double-parked along the road, one side parking half on the pavement. 3 single beds in the downstairs bedroom & 1 double bed upstairs. Upstairs bedroom didn't have anywhere to store clothes so we had to live out of suitcases. Lounge had dining table & 4 chairs, writing desk & extra chair under stairs. Smart TV and WiFi, 2 comfy sofas. Narrow kitchen contained oven & hob, microwave, kettle, fridge freezer and washing machine. No tin/bottle opener. Bathroom wasn't finished as well as other rooms, water pressure was low and affected the shower if the kitchen tap was turned on during use. The bathroom window was mouldy and the toilet seat was loose & didn't fit the pan. It was also a long walk from the upstairs bedroom if needed during the night. Outside area in desperate need of attention, with the dividing wall between the the accomodation and house next door decorated with broken glass bottle embedded in concrete (presumably an inexpensive security measure). It was not somewhere I'd consider safe for children to play, with a broken concrete floor and the remains of a brick wall (about 2 bricks high) by the back door as a perfect trip hazard. All in all, it mostly did what we needed but was definitely not somewhere I'd describe as luxury accomodation, and was particularly let down by the bathroom and outside yard.
