Room was fine check in Man was rude critical of our choice of food that evening so rude ! Breakfast we went down at 08.15 queued to get a table then there was no hot food other than beans and tomatoes . They had run out of bacon has browns sausages eggs no croissant no pancakes or pastries and then no bread for toast !!! Ended up with a bowl of cereal and some beans. ! How can a. Hotel serving breakfast run out an hour before end of service . Certainly won’t stay there again £13 to park car and insulted at checking in then not getting any decent breakfast had to go to local Greggs for a bacon roll . Never been so disappointed in a holiday inn express if they knew they were just surely they should ensure there was ample food . No apology they just expect you
To accept only choice is cereal left at 08.30 and hot drinks . Even fruit was only oranges no banana or apples. No yoghurts total shambles what on earth did I pay for ?? Wish we had stayed at a competitor now . Absolutely won’t use this hotel again. Only good thing was comfy bed but the pillows were hard heating was noisy kept coming in randomly disturbing out sleep . Really think I’d have been better off sleeping in car as didn’t get what I paid for ! Unhappy customer.
