Everything was good however the water in the cooler and the robes were not mentioned in any correspondence so it was difficult to know if they were included or as an extra. So some information would have been nice in relation to those items even it at check in they gave you that infotmation. Thanks otherwise everything good.

It's the small things sometimes that matter the most, the curtains don't close and lights from outside shines in. The air conditioning never settles and the EV charger was slow.

The room was clean and a good size. Staff engagement was excellent. Breakfast was very good and the restaurant was clean and well attended. There had obviously been some sort of leak on our floor, as there were ceiling tiles missing and buckets placed around the hallways. The level smelt musty, so I'm guessing it was still drying. The room was a connecting one and there was very little soundproofing. We didn't get back in till late and realised that the bed had a piece of hardboard underneath the mattress that ran from the foot of the bed up to just around half way. Consequently, when you lay down, your head and shoulders were lower than the rest of your body. To be fair, we didn't raise it with staff, as it was so late. I slept ok, but my partner struggled to sleep on it.

We were informed at the desk on arrival that the pool was out of order. This was a big blow for us as we had factored in some family time in the pool and we chose the hotel for this facility. I was shocked to have been informed about this prior to the stay or offered any alternative/compensation. Also the service in the restaurant at the evening meal was terrible. We went without any waiting staff at one point for about 20/30 minutes when we were keen to get another drink and order dessert. We ate out on the second night because of this. I would not go back to this hotel Regards Ross Harvey
