First time in the UK

First time in the UK and the staff was very helpful about where to go for eats and things to do. They also fixed the toilet seat in my mom's room promptly, it was cracked.

Had a decent stay here! Really like the location and being able to leave your luggage after you check out is a nice touch. Staff are friendly and e have stayed here before and will more than likely be back again but unfortunately on this occasion the bed seemed to be very firm to the point it was uncomfortable, the bottom sheet didn't fit on the bed and the duvet was very thick for this time of year considering it was over 20 degrees at the time of our stay. We did have Aircon which we did use but this still didn't really help once you were in bed.

The view from my window was terrible, full of rubbish with rats, The dressing table didnt have a mirror, full mirror at other end of the room but no power outlet so difficult to do hair, i cancelled my second night stay, the reception staff were very nice & friendly, Room was very clean.

Small room, can't remember last time I stayed in a room with no art on the wall, it looked like wood chip paper, TV controller didn't work properly, the TV had a USB slot so I thought great I can listen to music, only one track at a time, I then had to switch tv off and on and go through the menu to get next track. This MotelOne is well located. Staff are friendly and efficient. Having said that the rooms are starting to look a little run down and the air conditioning in mine was totally underpowered for a south facing room.

Great place to stay

Always enjoy a stay at Motel-One, clean, comfortable and cosy. Central in Newcastle which is good as I now live away and when I come up to go out with the boys I don’t have to worry about getting taxis here and there.
