We had a wonderful stay! The room was very clean, and the entire place looked great—warm, cozy, and well-kept. We were there just for the weekend to attend a wedding, but everything about the stay made it so comfortable and enjoyable. We will definitely be staying here again the next time we’re in the area!

Only complaint was parking. I believe they were at full capacity our first night and we had to park in front of their restaurant. Very clean (that's saying something from me 😊) The bed was comfortable and everything was in working order. Would definitely return.

The room was great. I gave us a very clean and comfortable place to sleep. We could use a second chair for the table. The bathroom was huge and the shower was great. But the staff were ok and somewhat disorganized. And when we arrived back in the evening (about 8pm) there was no where to park and it was a very confusing scene. That made it feel a bit unsafe - not sure who all these cars belonged to!

At this price range it would be hard to find a better stay in this area. The room had a mountain view and there was a nice little lounge area with a fire pit under a lovely tree. It was a great way to relax before bed. There was also a separate heating system in the bathroom which was much appreciated on a chilly morning. This is not the fanciest place one could stay in the area, but the owners have made an effort to make it welcoming.

We reserved two queen beds and Expedia changed the reservation to a king bed with pull out couch for three adults and a full grown 17. Owner was most helpful with providing cot. Last time using Expedia

This hotel reminded me of a mom and pop hotel. The staff was super friendly. A nice younger guy checked us in. He was really friendly. There is a restaurant on the property and they have a small bar. The waitress and the restaurant manager were both very nice. We only had appetizers and one drink each, but it was very good. The room looked exactly like it did in the pictures. It was very clean and the bathroom was spacious. The carpet had a couple of little stains, almost like somebody had dripped coffee but nothing major. The air conditioning was a window unit, which was fine, but I would have liked to have had a film on the windows so you couldn’t see in. When you closed the curtain all the way you didn’t fill the air as well. The room still stayed cool. The bad was very comfortable.The town has a couple of other little restaurants. It’s about 20 min from Banner Elk and 40 from Blowing Rock. The town definitely is not a tourist destination but we felt safe. I would stay here again.
