Awkwardly old fashioned room with the bathroom sink in the BEDROOM NOT THE BATHROOM! Strange rod thrown up in a corner to hang belongings, no closet.

Room was attractive. Very clean. A strong antiseptic odor in lobby but room was very nice. It was cold overnight and there weren’t any blankets to add to the thin bedding.

The room was very clean and charming. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. It was disappointing to not have breakfast served in the actual building in which we stayed. I don't think this was made clear in advance, only that we would be checking in at a different building. It worked out this time, but if the weather had been more inclement, I wouldn't have wanted to have to walk outside to get breakfast.

Room on ground floor small and could use hooks or shelves in bathroom for toiletries and towels. Minor issue resolved promptly by staff. Staff friendly and helpful with info about the area. Included breakfast offered quiche and homemade coffee cake along with pancakes, French toast, yogurt,melon and more. Bananas and or apples would be a nice addition. Appreciate free parking and 24 hr coffee/tea. Would stay again in this quaint Newport ‘home’ walkable to wharfs, mansions and other points of interest.

It was a good location and friendly service. Unfortunately in the room we stayed (two bedrooms) the temperature and heat was controlled from another room and kept getting hot or must have been changed since kept getting hotter.
