Review: Hotel Gokula Grand Turtle, Kovalam We stayed in a suite at Hotel Gokula Grand Turtle in Kovalam, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The ambience was warm and inviting, the food was delicious, and the management and staff were thoroughly professional and courteous. A highlight of our stay was participating in the Onam Sadya—it truly felt like celebrating Onam away from home, filled with warmth and tradition. I would especially like to mention a few team members who made our stay memorable: The front desk team – for the warm welcome and helpful introduction. The room attendants – for being exceptionally efficient, attentive, and caring. The General Manager and his colleagues – for their personal attention, with a special mention for their active involvement in organizing the Onam Sadya. The restaurant team – for their excellent service and genuine hospitality. Excellent value for money – the overall experience, from the suite to the service and dining, far exceeded our expectations and offered a truly premium experience. If I were to offer one constructive suggestion, it would be to give the property a slight facelift—a little maintenance upkeep would go a long way in enhancing the overall guest experience. That said, the natural surroundings more than make up for it. You can easily spend hours listening to the waves, watching fishermen at work, or enjoying tourist boats gliding across the sea.
