Excellent location. Hotel staff friendly and helpful. Standard room we stayed in was very tired. Quite small and dark. Desperately needed refubishung an modernising particularly the carpet and bathroom as there were stains on floors and walls and grubby corners. Didn't smell very fresh. Fortunately only booked 2 nights and we were out most of the time (so didn't bother complaining) but not a welcoming room to come back to.

I don't usually write reviews but don't feel like those available actually properly reflect this hotel. The condition and cleanliness of the room was very poor, the carpets were dirty and not vacuumed, there was hair on our towels on arrival and there was a stain on the sheets. The bathroom had no shower curtain or screen meaning the door was rotten at the bottom and there were other things in a general state of disrepair. The towels were replaced at the second time of asking and my concerns about the lack of a shower screen were met with a response like I was being stupid. The beach club is an extra 35 euros a day so don't be fooled into thinking it is included and to be honest, I'm baffled as to how this hotel maintains a 4 star rating given the lack of facilities. It does have redeeming qualities, the location is great, the bed was comfy and the aircon perfect.

This was a beautiful property, and we had a wonderful stay overall. Would absolutely stay here again for the location and the hotel itself being so clean and comfortable. They gave us late check-out and then held our bags for us until we had to leave on our last day, which we truly appreciated. The only downsides were that check-in was supposed to be 3pm and we got there around 430pm expecting to be able to check-in right away but we had to wait for about 30 minutes for the room to become available which we found odd and we were glad we hadn’t shown up at 3pm expecting to check-on on time. There was also dried a splash from a drink on the headboard and the canvas photo above it, but other than that the room was very clean. One thing we did find odd is that when you check-in they tell you that you can only rent beach chairs at the front desk and only for cash, but when you go down to the beach you can pay by card and it is cheaper. Also when we went to the beach to rent 2 chairs for the day they refused to rent less chairs than people; there were 3 of us. Even though one of us only planning to swim and maybe sit on the edge of the chair for a few minutes at a time. They said 1 chair per person only. I’m not sure if this is a well-known rule, and that’s fine if it is but I just found it odd that even though 1 of us wasn’t planning to lounge out like 2 of us were that they refused to give us 2 chairs because there were 3 of us there. Just little things we noticed.

This is a great hotel in the center of old Nice, right near the beach. The beach is across the street, it’s not adjacent to the hotel. The hotel has its own beach club to which you as a guest will get a discount to. The total cost was €40 per person per bed for 1st line. Frankly, the beach club was nice but the price did not feel discounted considering that is the average beach bed cost in a lot of the clubs. Also you have to pay cash for it, they will ask you for another €5 to be on the front line. We did it, the beach was clean and lovely and the staff attentive. I did choose this hotel thinking that the beach was just a normal amenity and was surprised at the cost. So if you’re reading this, there ya go!

We really liked being able to get outside and have access to the water, very convenient. Close to walk to everything and the boardwalk is wonderful. However, it was expensive to rent chairs to sit out on and they only accept cash. As well, I wore earplugs the whole time as it is very noisy in the evenings because you can hear everything that is going on in the street and boardwalk.

The WiFi in our room didn’t work and we complained several times but nothing changed. If we had to do work we had to sit in the lobby. Finally on our last day they moved our room where the WiFi worked but the air conditioning didn’t. Not a great experience.

Overall great! Floor of room was in need of redoing, but not a problem. Staff was super nice and helpful. They went out of there way to fix a tour snafu and made us happy! Close to beach, tram to trains, shopping and dining!

Way overpriced, old rooms, don’t expect 4-star.

Completely outdated room, especially the bathroom which was falling apart. Dirty old carpet and closet. Lobby outdated but in decent condition, but smelled like sewage. Good service and great location, but not at all what one would expect of a 4 star. It’s 2 star on condition, 3-4 star on service and 5 star on location. Breakfast is included but also at a 2-3 star level. Presentation is poor and food not great at all, very basic. Again, friendly staff. Advertised as having a private beach, but doesn’t specify that you need to pay for your beach chairs on top of paying your room, which is ridiculous for a so-called 4 star hotel, and feels like they’re trying to pull one on you, so we simply didn’t go to their beach club. I’m the end, way overpriced for what it offers.wont stay there again and won’t recommend.
