This was the opening week at the Nemea after refurbishment. On arrival we were kept waiting for 1 hour because our room was not ready. When we eventually went up to the room there was a workman in there with tools. He said 'tomorrow' and left. The room was clean and the beds were comfy. Air conditioning was a bonus. Unfortunately many appliances were not connected and not working including the TV, hairdryer and kettle. Coat hangers were not on the rail so unusable, all the shelves in the wardrobe were covered in dust. Having appliances including a hairdryer were part of our reasons for choiithe hotel not not impressed.
Reception did not help despite us going back down to ask but they also said 'tomorrow' however no one came to connect anything the next day. We also sent messages via the booking app Expedia but no response. Emailing the property also got no response.
We received several checking in messages prior to arriving but not one mentioned if was opening week or that they might not be ready. Not was this mentioned when we were checking in and yet the hotel was quite happy to take our money. No apology until we were checking out and no refund or reduction.
