We’ve just checked out of Hotel Suites Nieuwpoort. Overall, it’s been a decent experience. The room is spacious and very good for families with children, which has been a big plus for us. There’s plenty of space to spread out, and it feels comfortable for a longer stay. The rooms are also very well equipped and have everything you could need as a family, which makes it convenient and practical. However, there are a few downsides. The pool was quite cold at 25°C, which made it less enjoyable than expected. It made the kids extremely cold, and we weren’t able to stay in for very long, which was disappointing. On-site parking is expensive, and while there is some free street parking nearby, it’s limited and not convenient. There was also a significant amount of noise coming from the apartment above, specifically from chairs being moved, which was very loud. It’s also worth noting that the beds are not made on arrival (linen is provided) and towels are not included as standard. At the end of the stay, guests are required to remove all rubbish and strip the beds, which is something to be aware of before booking. Overall, the accommodation itself is spacious and family-friendly, but the additional costs, cold pool, noise disturbance, and end-of-stay requirements do affect the overall experience.
