A perfect stay. Lovely traditional home in a quiet location near the river. Yoshiko is a delightful host - she picked us up and dropped us off at the train station, and provided us fresh bread, yoghurt, juice and fruit. Cottage is right near the start of a lovely walk along Ganman ga Fuchi Abyss past the Jizou statues. 15 minute walk to the Toshogu Shrine. Highly recommend this place!

It was so nice to stay in a neat little Japanese house and the pickup/dropoff from the train station by the host was very welcome. The house is in a great spot and easy walk to the main bus that takes you around all the Nikko sights to see. Its also an easy walk from some of the best temples. Loved it.

Really appreciated Yoshiko picking us up and dropping us to the train . The location of this property is excellent ... walking distance to so many sites , but in a quiet area ... highly recommend
