This is my fourth visit to one niseko. In the past it's been excellent but since covid there have been staff shortages and it has really gone downhill. The bar is no longer open, the rooms only get serviced once a week and there is a shortage of shuttles between the hotel and the ski areas. We have tried to book taxis to and from the ski areas on a number of occasions, the taxi companies are notorious for not answering their phones. We are then forced to go to Moiwa as it is the only ski area within walking distance. Also, a face mask is required to be worn at all times when moving around the hotel but these are not provided.

It was a good location to Moiwa Ski Resort which is why we like it. The room was big, especially for Japan standards, which was nice to have. Buffet breakfast was great, had a lot of options. The shuttle service was really good, very busy so remember to book.
It wasnt as clean as i would have expected. Japan usually has very high standards, but in my opinion the room wasnt to that standard. There was someones hair in the bathroom, the bathroom doors didnt look like they'd been cleaned for a year. Carpet didnt look very clean.
Also, Niseko Village had a water shortage at the time we were there (Dec 2019), so they hotel had cut water off for 3 hours during the middle of the day and over the less busy time at night. I know it wasnt the hotel's fault but i dont think they handled the situation well at all.

Best place to stay
We had the greatest time here, our room was huge, the staff are the best, the Onsen was fantastic after skiing each day and the Hotel bus pick up and drop off service is outstanding, also the breakfast with views from the 10th floor is amazing. Thank you for making our stay superb as was the deep powder snow, cheers Eric.

Comfortable and accommodating
We stayed at One Niseko for our honeymoon, and to snowboard. The suite was spacious clean and had everything we could need. The hotel staff really helped to make this hotel wonderful. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome, to answer all questions and to order us taxis. They even happily spoke to Jetstar Japan on our behalf about our missing bag as we were having language communication issues. Even though this hotel is a fair way from Niseko United resorts, they make up for it by supplying a shuttle bus, making daily trips to Annupuri or Hirafu very easy. The hotel has everything you need including two bars, a restaurant, a small lobby shop, massage and a beautiful Onsen. A great hotel if you want space and quiet away from Hirafu.

Pros:Large Rooms, Free shuttle to main ski areas and Hirafu village
Cons:Location is a bit far out of the way, facilities in the hotel aren't great (restaurant is a bit disappointing) - we got snowed in one night and stuck
There are buses that run from Sappor city of New Chitose Airport (Kanto and White Liner) which drop you at the hotel across the road which was good
