I asked for early checkin before i arrived and that didnt happen. Sat in the sun waited for 2 1/2 hours for my room. Bartenders at the horizon bar was completely unattentive. I waited with nobody at the bar for 15 minutes to grab his attention, finally took my order and went back on his phone til i just walked away and went to the liquor store and got my own. My second time there and would not go again or recommend.

We loved this resort and will definitely return. The staff were helpful and friendly, and the 1 bedroom suite was spacious, clean, and had all the amenities we needed. The location was excellent (for us) as we like it quieter. The high rise hotel district where most of the bars, restaurants and clubs are is a 15 - 20 minute walk north, on the beachfront path. But if you're not a walker, the bus stops right out front of the resort plus you can rent a scooter, electric bike, or just Uber. The beach was amazing and I loved that we had access to ample palapas (umbrellas) that were reserved for resort guests. We really enjoyed both restaurants/ bars on the resort and loved our dinner on the beach (reservations recommended especially if you want sunset). All in all a fabulous stay. This was our first time in Aruba and we were celebrating our 25th anniversary. One thing that did surprise me about the Island though, was it is always windy, and I not just talking a gentle ocean breeze! So FYI ladies... take plenty of hair clips ;-)

We stayed here again because we had such a wonderful time last year. Things have obviously changed and for the worse!!! Staff is NOT friendly and unwelcoming. Nobody even says good morning. Worse part, there’s a terrible FECES smell all throughout the property due to some sewer plant right behind the property. We were stuck smelling shhhhhh at all times of the day. Imagine coming back to the room after a wonderful dinner and being nauseous from the terrible smell. We definitely will NOT be back!! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE

The resort was absolutely fabulous, the only one thing that wasn’t as pleasant had nothing to do the resort but the area had a strange odor. The room was great the staff was even better. I private beach and beach bar was all so awesome. They should definitely consider extending bar hours. We are considering even returning and doing our destination wedding here! We will absolutely be back.
