First, getting the room with front desk ( Alice) was an awful experience and it was almost 7pm to get the room! Smelled like a chemical factory after each cleaning, floors were not washed, sand everywhere, and a week later my stay is still not showing on my account! Keys didn’t work four times out of seven days there, Food at breakfast was the same for a week, and it was just re-heated and not fresh! Cabana boy on the beach made us carry the towels back to the hotel, and the list can go on! We both are platinum members with Marriott and were extremely surprised of the very poor performance and quality of hotel management. Best staff were the beach shuttle driver, the pool side bartenders and the yoga teacher! And the iguanas by the rocks! 😜

The sheets had blood on them and the bathroom was missing shampoo. Overall the room was not impressive at all. Sheets were very stiff and the pillows were awful. We were upgraded because our room was not ready at 4pm in the afternoon and I thought upgraded? Didn't feel upgraded to me so I think they were telling me untruths. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was good. Music in two different areas of the pool so it was awfully loud and just plain annoying. Couldn't get away from both and they were playing it at the same time. Had to ask them several times to lower the music when we were dining. Could hear the music blasting in my upgraded room. The doors slamming all night were very loud. Overall 2 out of 10, maybe.

They were not accommodating at all, the airline changed our flights - I called the resort to get them to adjust our dates, they refused said it was against policy - so I thought well our next flight will allow us to at least check in early since our flight arrived earlier the next day- we arrived at 1 pm - our room was not ready until after 4:30pm when check in was supposed to be at 4, and we had already paid for the previous night! They simply did not care ! Extremely disappointing!! And they tried to charge taxes fees and deposit twice

This is a great place to stay. The rooms are clean, the amenities are great, a wide selection for a delicious breakfast, and best of all was the fantastic staff. Make sure to visit the lounge area to see Miguel (he is amazing) and it is a great place to meet and mingle with other guests
