We began our trip with some disappointment. Although other room views were available, we were assigned one facing a stockroom, which was disheartening. One day, we didn’t receive any towels, and despite several calls to housekeeping, none were ever brought to us. We had no choice but to dry off using our personal face towels. The quality of the alcoholic beverages was also disappointing. They all tasted the same, cheap and stale, and there were no premium options available. Prior to our arrival, I emailed the hotel expressing how excited we were to celebrate a significant milestone. In response, we received a small gesture, a few loose Hershey's chocolates in an oddly presented box, which felt underwhelming given the occasion.

Buffet was better than restaurants. Pool was slightly dirty. Most of staff very friendly and helpful. Activities to do, and easy to plan excursions. Beach was beautiful and clean. Wish they served drinks on beach.

The hotel beach and pools were beautiful and clean. All the staff were friendly and very helpful. The food at the different restaurant options and buffet were all delicious. The buffet had a different theme every night as well. The drinks were good - some bars made better drinks then others - but overall no complaints and the drinks weren't watered down like some other all inclusive resorts. The only complaint was the streaming options on the TV and some of the light switches in our room didn't work. We told the front desk about the TV and when they sent maintenance they told us all of the TVs were like that. Not that big of a deal as we weren't in our room that much. The elevators were a little wonky too - every day it seemed a different one wasn't working, which was a little nerve racking as we were on the 18th floor! But overall, we enjoyed our stay and would go back! It was nice that we had access to the Riu's as well.

The Elite room I was put in had a stopped up sink, maintenance came up to fix it and said to only use the sink they fixed and not to use the working one because it was now broke. Maintenance said someone would be back at 9am the next day to fix it. When I got back in the evening around 7:30 the door was open and 2 maintenance people were working on the sink. We had dinner reservations at 9pm and couldn’t get ready on our time because they were there. They said it was fixed but now it would back up and spill out of the wall, so it wasn’t fixed. I asked for a room change because I wanted to relax and not wait on maintenance. They happily moved my room to a worse view, a shower with no door and a screw as the lock handle on the sliding door. Aside from the room, the buffet was good, the Elite restaurant had fantastic ambiance but they were unorganized with taking orders and bringing food. They brought our main course out before our appetizers and asked if we still wanted the appetizers. The Elite pool is great and private but it could use music, considering the main pool has music. The 2 female bartenders at the elite pool were amazing! The access to the beach was great and the beach itself was great. For an “Elite” booking it was subpar.

Awesome place to stay at vs every other resort. The fact that there's always food options inside the resort was a plus. Wish they had more options on the liquor but everyone was sweet and respectful
