Will stay again

We enjoyed our four day stay to the Fox Ridge resort, though it does appear this resort has started to become more rundown compared to the years prior that we have visited. The customer service was excellent, there was always a smile when we were greeted, and a thorough explanation upon our check-in of all the amenities available. We would definitely stay here again, though I hope they consider replacing the carpet to an easier to clean flooring in the future! That would certainly help improve the overall feel.

Really enjoyed my stay here. Travelled with a friend and we felt safe and relaxed the whole time we were here. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Only complaint I would have is that the room beside ours chained smoked on their balcony which made our room constantly stink.

It’s ok at first then we went to look at the room and we ask for a Mountain View, but actually we didn’t get it until we went to the customer service desk and they finally gave us another room which we can barely see Mountain View, which is all right the room we stay was terrible as well. We got our stuff stolen. The room was 119 and it was bad.

The property has excellent amenities, and very kid / family friendly. Some of the things are outdated and could use a little love but it didn’t stop us from enjoying our stay. Picture perfect and the breakfast was superb. clean, nice, welcoming, homey. highly recommend.

I liked the breakfast buffet, it was clean, very organized, and had many choices. Room was clean with great views of the nearby mountains. Did not care for the indoor pool and hot tub because it really needs to be redone, especially the hot tub. Another reviewer summed up the hotel and I agree, "It reminds me of the places my parents brought me when I was a child."

We were supposed to have two queen beds and we had two double beds. We paid for a mountain view room but the porch was in such poor condition and the railing was loose and it was not safe so we werent able to sit out there. In addition, there are several hornet nests on tbe porches and outside of the building. The bed frames are extremely sharp and stick out and two of us cut our legs just getting into bed. The outdoor pool needs care- you cant see through to the bottom of the deep end , the paint is chipping on the floor and sides and its sharp, and theres mushrooms and moss growing on the sides of the pool.

Place is very outdated, room smelled moldy/musty, carpet dirty/bunching and lifting from floor, bathroom light flickering, parking is a joke, pot holes all over driveway, no security, doors left wide open for anyone to come in, no lighting. Not worth the pricw.

We’ve been coming to North Conway for many years, but this was the first time we’ve stayed at Fox Ridge. From walking in the door, the staff was so kind and friendly. The property is beautiful, though dated (like most of this area, it’s not super modern and that’s part of the fun!). Breakfast was delicious and we made use of the indoor pool each night after playing out in the hot sun all day. The property is close to restaurants and stores that you can walk or easily drive to. The only downside is the game room, which was extremely hot and the games are a bit dated. This didn’t bother my kids too much (they’re little). But, if arcades are your thing and you want more than air hockey and 2 racing games, you can walk a very short distance to the one next door! So this didn’t end up being a big deal at all. We will definitely be returning to Fox Ridge as overall it was clean, comfortable, affordable and had everything we needed for a great family stay.

The hotel is very outdated. The halls smell like mildew. There were bugs in the hallway. The mini golf area is pretty much not usable. Indoor poor area smelled. Outdoor pool needs to be redone. We used to come every year, haven’t been in a few years and won’t be back. Walking from the car to the hotel at night was pitch black. They have light posts that do not work. It felt very unsafe. The only good thing was the employee working the front desk was very nice.

Was a nice place was kinda hard to see at night to find got lost a couple of times trying to get back to the hotel! but people were really nice and accommodating very relaxing. Had a great weekend very close to everything! My sister and I had a great time all in all!
