Great location but.....

Unit is very nice and in a great location across from the pool. Problems: owners have the thermostat locked so it can't be set lower than 72 degrees. Also if you do not pass the NEST thermostat for a period of time, it will automatically start raising the temperature in the unit. We arrived home from a day at the beach to the temperature in the unit at 78 despite the thermostat being set at 72. This is unacceptable when you are paying to rent a place & the outside temperatures are in the mid to upper 90's. Even the Barefoot Rental Office advised they have contacted the owner about this issue. This unit is advertised as having a "king bed" in the master bedroom. The "king" bed is actually 2 twin size beds pushed together so there is a space between the 2 mattresses. This could pose a problem for families looking to have a child sleep in the middle of the bed or looking to sleep more than 2 people in the bed.
