Perks & quirks
Our family stayed for a week at this property and we enjoyed ourselves.
PERKS:
*the 1st floor condo is just steps away from the beach, the pool, the lazy river, and the hot tub.
*the condo is loaded with everything you need for your trip -- GOBS of kitchen items, extra pillows, blankets, tubs of kid toys, etc.
*communication, early check-in, ease of usage are all A+
*condo is comfortable and homey
QUIRKS:
* condo is situated with pool directly outside the deck, and the pool noise is LOUD, even at night. This isn't an owner problem, but if you like quiet or have a sleeping baby or retire early-ish, you'll be annoyed.
* the washing machine had that bad smell they get and bc it's situated in the entry hall to the kitchen, it stunk up the whole condo. We smelled it upon arrival. I did run a cleaning cycle, but it needs a good cleaning with elbow grease.
* The previous guests left behind some personal items -- towel, sippy cup under the bed, tissues under a dresser, etc. and that felt kind of gross, as if the cleaning crew hadn't done a thorough job.
* The condo did not feel clean upon arrival. Sandy grit in the big bathtub, sand on the living room rug, dusty surfaces, some crusty/smelly dishes. Some of this is normal and some of it is avoidable. The place wasn't disgusting by any means, but it wasn't very clean either.
