We loved the Belissimo grand. The room and jacuzzi tub were great. The breakfast was absolutely amazing. Best place to stay in the area by far other than the actual casino. When I can’t get a complimentary room this place is my go to.

Confusion

When checking in we were given our room. When we went to our room, we noticed someone’s luggage and purse. We called the front desk to realize they put us in someone else’s room. The front desk quickly rectify the situation and gave us another room and the remainder of our day was wonderful. The hotel was clean. Our room was clean. Our hot tub was clean. The bed was very comfortable.

Property is old. Looks nice from the outside but the walls are paper thin and beds are small and the rooms have a very musty odor. Thankfully it was only one night but I wouldn’t recommend. The staff is very nice and the proximity to Foxwoods is great but overall it wasn’t worth the price. It is definitely more of an under $100 a night motel than a Hotel with amenities. The staff however were super sweet and pleasant when checking in and out.

We stayed for only one night as we had an event at Foxwoods. It is close to the casino so very convenient. The parking is easy, the front lobby is small but pretty. Our room was clean and spacious (unfortunately on the first floor so view of parking lot). The bathroom was so nice with amenities. Downsize was front desk. I was unable to check in early, when I asked a question one of the girls was a little standoffish. Came back later spoke to someone else and she was beyond accommodating. We requested help with the heat in our room they never came luckily we figured it out. The breakfast was amazing the cook was nice and the waitress was great (not sure her name but she is in college).

Before check in I ordered chocolate strawberries and a charcuterie board for our room it was our 1 year wedding anniversary. Upon check in they didn’t do the order like said. I had to ruin it to ask in front of my husband. Our room was right by the door that opened and shut all hours of the night and u could hear the stairs every move anyone made. I finally said something the last night and they moved us but it wasn’t much better. The people above us just stomped around all night. It was a jacuzzi suite but the jets made an awful loud sound when turned on we didn’t even use them. We went to breakfast Saturday am only to wait about 30 min to be sat and then 45/50 for food the man that served was awful. Just let us sit there with nothing. The woman gave us coffee and tea. Just feel like it was a ton of money for a motel like stay. Not worth 800$ that’s for sure. Not very impressed at all.

Not a place I would stay in again

The hotel is older and hasn’t bend updated in awhile. The room had a stand up shower which was awful and the shower head barely moved. The walls looked cracked and our bedroom looked had curtains except the room darkening one didn’t close all the way and their parking lot light was brightening up our room. We also went down to the restaurant and they were out of most everything and the food was mediocre. I was extremely disappointed and would not stay in there again.
