This hotel needs some basic upkeeping. The chair in the room looks like it was collected from someones garbage. One of the beds was literally slanted to one side. Mattresses were not comfortable. While the hotel was trying by running an air purifier in the hall, it did nothing to improve the smell of the room.

There was a baby crying through the night a few times which you coukd hear no problem.Also right behind the bedside table all night long it sounded like a mouse running over wires back there coukdnt find one but it was very annoying

Clean, friendly staff and close to where we exited the ferry. Mostly truckers seemed to be staying there and there were not a lot of dinner options in No. Sidney. Did not try the hotel restaurant. Had I known ferry would get in on time I would have driven on to a different town that had a bit more range of options.

Hotel North is a very clean, well-maintained, spacious, older facility. Its dining room has a wonderful view of the Sydney Harbour, a large traditional menu and very tasty food.
