The room was warm and comfortable with good facilities and room service. The 2nd floor room was staircase only and a curtain to let the light in would have been better. The proximity to the railway station was good.

The room decor was very tired. The toilet seat was loose, and the curtain had a hook missing. Despite reporting this on day 1, it was not fixed. We turned the radiator on, only to be unable to turn it off. The shower was moldy. On-street parking is only for 2 hours. Continental breakfast was limited, and the milk smelled off. Cooked breakfast included a veggie sausage, samosa, baked beans, and a hash brown. The hash brown was still partly frozen; the samosa was cold in the middle. (A fabulous independent cafe across the road saved the day). The size of the family room was good.

Clean room, very friendly staff, just 5 minutes walking distance to Central Station, 15 to the Castle. Their motto “Affordable comfort for everyone” suits well. Will definitely consider this hotel when going to Norwich again.

Very uncomfortable hotel

Our double room was very small and had a very small double bed which was so hard it was impossible to get a good nights sleep. Also there were no mirrors in the room. My wife was not impressed. The internet was impossible to connect to even with the password. Would not stay here again.

Book because it had a restaurant and bar, but was told closed the weekend i booked. Out of 4 electrical appliances in the room only 1 had a PAT safety sticker on the plug and that was 4 years out of date. No safety instructions incase of fire that's should be on the back of room door. Parking was restricted. Really don't think it should have a 3 star rating. Booked for 2 nights but only stayed for 1, booked another hotel for my second night away. Someone really needs to go and look at this place before advertising it.
