We were situated near some construction so it was a little loud during the day. Absolutely beautiful setting. The breakfast was amazing. Would definitely stay here again.

The staff at the hotel were pleasant especially Edi, our room was a little dated but hotel is being revamped. Work is tucked away and not intrusive. Pools were amazing but need more beds to lie on. Struggled to find some at 10am. Breakfast was ok, a bit manic trying to find free tables and very warm - need more fans. Restaurants were good and the Wednesday show was good with lovely food - all eaten just before the thunderstorms!! 5* hotel in lovely area. Great for walks.

Our stay was just ok. The staff was great, the hotel looked awesome and the beach was nearby. The pool closed too early 7pm so we only had access to the pool at the spa. The basic room didn’t even come with a sofa chair or sofa and the hotel didn’t have luggage racks which was wierd but we made it work. We were moved to one of the Presidents Club rooms but they weren’t very well ventilated and my wife had a hard time breathing in the room. They moved us again to another room and gave us an additional fan to cool and ventilate the room since the AC couldn’t be adjusted in the rooms. They had a strict temp set automatically and couldn’t be changed. We most likely will not visit Bali again unfortunately.

Husband and I stayed here to 'treat ourselves' for an anniversary 8 day Bali trip having never tried Nusa Dua. When we arrived was a great first impression. An authentic Balienese feel and look. Walked the grounds and very well kept and beautiful. Lobby, grounds and beach view look grand. We were directed to what appeared to be a conference type room for a reception check in which was seamless. We had arrived early but they were accommodating and after a short wait were taken to our room. Staff were great as was the fantasic breakfast. 10/10 for that. Unfortunately for a supposed 5* the room was dated and was not 5* quality. We have stayed in better at 3* hotels tbh. Bed was comfy and pillows fluffy and room was clean but the wear and tear within the room was apparent. Plug sockets removed and plastered up, some hanging out, tiles needing TLC, mirrors tarnished, towels were definately passed thier use by date and fraying and chrome work peeling off towel rails etc. We tried one of the restraunts on the resort and was mediocre at best and expensive. We went to the Bali Collection and found much better food at more reasonable prices. Nusa Dua itself is not an area we will return too as no real atmosphere. Just an fyi - if you are a smoker (which i am much to the hubbys dislike) you can only smoke at the downstairs dedicated outside bar area or out the front so no sitting on your terrace or balcony enjoying a coffee in a morning.

As the oldest hotel in Nusa Dua, every corner of this property feels like a living museum. It has a dignified, timeless atmosphere that you simply won’t find in modern Western hotel chains. From the intricate wall carvings to the beautiful temple within the gardens, everything is full of character and charm. The lush greenery adds so much to the ambiance—mature trees, deep greens, and expansive gardens create a sense of calm and serenity. The pool never feels crowded, and there were always deck chairs available, which made relaxing effortless. One of the joys of walking through the grounds is encountering the many animals that live here: peacocks, squirrels, ducks, egrets, bats, turtles, and koi fish. These little moments made every stroll feel special and heart-warming. We stayed in a Palace Club Room, and the breakfasts and afternoon teas in the lounge were pure bliss. The staff were consistently warm and smiling, with excellent customer service throughout our stay. There were also some truly unique experiences: a fruit-carving lesson with a chef who has won numerous awards, and even the chance to play squash with a member of the gym staff who is an Indonesian squash champion. What truly stood out was not just the beauty of the hotel itself, but the people. Every staff member added something special to the experience. A wonderful balance of stunning surroundings and heartfelt hospitality.

I will return to Bali and I will stay here again. Beautiful, clean, attentive friendly service. Excellent food and entertainment. Spotless pools and clean beach, all with food service. Room was clean with comfortable bed. Massage at the spa was flawless. There is so much happening here that there is no reason to leave. I have no idea what the rest of Bali is like! All my needs and desires were met with a smile.

This was our fourth stay at this wonderful hotel, and it continues to exceed every expectation. The staff are truly amazing—warm, attentive, and consistently accommodating, making us feel welcomed from the moment we arrived. The breakfast is fabulous, with a variety and quality that make each morning a pleasure. The location is perfect, offering easy access to everything while still feeling peaceful and relaxing. The hotel itself is beautiful, with a serene garden that invites you to unwind and enjoy the surroundings. Everything is impeccably clean, and the on‑site restaurants are exceptional—each meal was a delight. Great resort with a lot of amenities. It was a great time of year to travel as the resort was only about 50% full. Staff were very pleasant and friendly. If you want somewhere quiet and peaceful, this is a great option in Nusa Dua.
