Hotel was recently bought. They are doing a total renovation of it. When its finnished itll be tremendous. Staff very polite. My stay was just great have no qualms.

I chose this hotel because it had good reviews and was listed as a 3-star hotel. It is most certainly not a 3-star hotel...this is a 1-star hotel and it's awful. The beds are so uncomfortable I could barely sleep and it ruined by climbing trip. I left early because the room was so bad and I was so uncomfortable. Nothing has been updated in decades, it's gross/dirty, the air is stale, everything in the room is grungy, the WiFi is actually useless, and it's just a terrible spot in all honesty. It is not worth $100/night at all and I would not recommend staying here. I really wish I could get a refund.

The place is awaiting a renovation. All but a few rooms are closed off. Amenities are all closed. Everything is dilapidated. New owners should forego the few dollars they get from renting 10 rooms out of 300, and just await the renovations.

Got a call 20 minutes before checking in that the room I had booked (king bed) weeks in advance was no longer available and that I'd have to take a room with double beds (which was cheaper than my King room) but I wouldn't be refunded the difference. Was told there wasn't anything they could do since they were 'renovating' ALL of the king rooms apparently. This place is definitely in need of renovations too as it's straight out of the 1980s... don't expect the wifi to work either because it doesn't. The rooms also lacked privacy blinds on the windows aside from some ultra-thin see-through material that doesn't block anyone from looking in. We were on the 2nd floor but our room was wide open for people to look in (as 2 men did) from across the way. There was no way to prevent them from looking in since there weren't any blinds on the windows or curtains. Aside from the price, there aren't any real redeemable factors for staying at this hotel and I would suggest avoiding it. It doesn't help that the exterior of the building looks like it has been abandoned for years.

Even though we showed up after 9pm, our room was not ready, in fact, they sent us to the room apparently without knowing the room was in disarray..beds not made, sheets thrown around the room, etc. We were given another room with the unnecessarily long explanation of the many reasons this could have happened before giving us another room. There was also a promise of telling management in the hopes that it would be made up to us..of course, nothing came of this because we booked through Expedia.Both hotels booked through Expedia have a real distaste for the partnership and vocalize it as if it's the customer's problem or fault that this is not amenable to the hotel...according to them. When asked about the "fitness area", we were quickly warned that we may see some disrepair because they're doing a multi-million dollar reno that makes everything look terrible. As I went to the area, I saw the "reno": wallpaper being removed to reveal an obvious huge mold issue, filthy carpet, abandoned rooms, outdoor furniture inside,etc. Breakfast was a limited odd selection with paper plates and plasticware. Very sad, but certainly misrepresented on Expedia...shame on you for not knowing your properties better.

They are apparently under renovations but none of this was conveyed during booking. The place obviously is in need of renovations, it is in very poor shape. The pool, hot tub and restaurant bar were closed. The only positive is the room was clean and neat.

We stayed here after a long day of sightseeing and it was pretty nice. Bar and restaurant were no longer open but the breakfast buffet was pretty good. The whole place just kind of needs a makeover which we were told it was recently purchased by different owners that were looking to renovate and get back to it's original glory. I wouldn't shy away from here but also wouldn't say it'd be my only choice if there were different options. I'd give the new owners the benefit of the doubt though. The front desk girl although I forget her name was surely a go getter that should help make people want to stay there also. She was knowledgeable and very easy for us to talk to also helped us with a slight issue.

The following items were not available or out of service: Wifi, vending machine, ice machine, elevator, pool, coffee in lobby, tissues in room. At breakfast the powdered scrambled eggs were stone cold and very poorly prepared. .They were grainy. There were no knives available at breakfast. The early morning clerk at the desk had no access to systems to check us out and provide a receipt. I do not feel this property was ready to do business and we were very dissatisfied with it.

The rooms while falling apart, quite literally (wallpaper peeling, doors broken, walls cracked) we’re at the very least clean, bedding, bathroom etc, as much as they could be with extremely outdated furniture and fixtures. The black out curtains had multiple tears and holes in them so there was always light coming through the sheers. Definitely needs updated and a good deep cleaning throughout the hotel, the hall and entryway carpet was disturbingly dirty and stained. Everything was dusty and very outdated. Will definitely not be back. I will say the staff was very friendly.

This is a hotel in decline. Much of the property was closed off or in desperate need of repair. There are some parts where construction was being done, but I didn't get the impression work was being done consistently. Pool was closed, gym was laughably outdated. Restaurant/lounge was also shut down, as well as all vending machines. That being said I could tell they were trying their best. The room was clean, and the parts of the hotel that were open were also clean and orderly. I do hope they are able to finish repairs and get back up to speed, they have a lot of potential.
