I love my room at the Oakhurst Lodge, it was clean, everything worked well, and the high ceilings were super cool! My only reason for four instead of five stars is, if you have a dog, their property is not very accommodating for a good place to use the restroom. One of the grass fields in the back got stickerbushes all in my dogs paws. But i 100% recommend for travelers without pets!!

I rate this place much higher than expedia's 7.8, I give this place 9.5/10, the only minor issue is the insulation less than perfect, can hesr TV from next door but it did not bother much.

Traveled with husband to see Yosemite. Hotel was easy access to main rd. We had a late checkin office was dark as in not much lighting. It was actually very dark, no outside lightning. If you're on a budget, this is a good place for you. Hotel is old and updated. They did offer cereal and fruit in boiled eggs for breakfast.But unfortunately, no waffles, like in the picture. That was the whole reason I stayed, so I was very disappointed with that. Old room had a odd smell, just the carpet was old.I believe it made the room smell.

Very Accommodating

This hotel was especially accommodating to our needs. Our flight coming into Fresno was already going to be a late one, so we called to verify check in, they said just call when we're 10min away and they'll meet us at the front counter. Our flight ended up being delayed and we didn't end up getting into town until 1:30am. Someone was there to meet us like they said after calling. They also had already set up the baby play pen and thermostat in the room prior to us getting there since we were traveling with an infant. Parking was available right out front of our room. Everything is on ground level. The room and bathroom were a decent size. Nice Dove soap/shampoo/ conditioner/ lotion were all in room for use. There was a mini fridge with freezer and a microwave. My only complaints would be the fridge got too cold and made the formula baby bottles into icy shushes....i unfortunately had to dump them. I did not see anywhere to adjust the temp of the fridge after that. And our room TV worked, but i could only power on and adjust volume from the actual tv, those 2 functions would not work on the remote control. Other than those 2 issues which are fixable, we would definitely stay there again. You can't beat the price and the accommodating service. Also, so many things were in walking distance around us, it made it very convenient.

I did not sleep in the room. The sink was damaged very badly. The faucet was off the sink. I hit my head, ended up having a concussion on a so-called hang up would attachment in the bathroom. The window could not lock. The blinds were severely damaged where you try to draw the blinds they broke completely off. There was a man outside of the window who is working in a warehouse who was looking straight at me in the window this was unsafe environment and I would not recommend for anyone to stay there. I would ask that Expedia take them off their list if they possibly could I would ask for a full refund being that I had to get another room at another establishment at the last minute just to take a shower And feel safe.
