I did not like the room door was not completely sealed and you can see the outside light around the door frame at night time. There was a small black spot of mold in the left bottom corner of the shower and the door handle for the room was wobbly.

The room interior is updated, very clean and very comfortable. The Marina view is spectacular. I loved the modern design with no annoying lights or alarm clock. I slept quite well!

We had never stayed in Alameda before and were pleasantly surprised by this little gem. Located on the waterfront, this room had a beautiful view. The staff was kind and helpful. It was reasonably priced. Our only issue was a coffee maker which didn’t work.

Weekend Getaway!

This was my second time staying at the Marina Village Inn. I traveled from the Sacramento area for a quiet weekend away from home to Marina Village Inn. The view of the Marina was mainly the reason I came back. My hotel room was very clean although the towels needed to be softer. The front desk service was kind and helpful. Guest service was speedy when I called to have fresh towels and an ironing board. I will differently be returning for another weekend away from home to the Bay Area.

Nice hotel!

Comfortable hotel, clean room, good location, friendly staff, breakfast wasn’t really enough to consider it “continental breakfast”, but overall it was a nice property.

Spend $20 more to stay somewhere else!

We should have left when we walked through the door. The room smelled overwhelmingly like FeBreeze or something - so much so it got in your nose. It was terrible. When we got home, I had to wash all of the clothes we brought (worn or not) because everything stunk like the room. We could hear everything from the room on top of us - it was like bad apartment living. Additionally, no wifi and despite the "smart tv" it didn't work. The bathroom door wouldn't close all the way offering no privacy and the glass panels and door were dirty. They said they "upgraded us" so I hate to know what room we would have been in. The bed itself was surprisingly comfortable but not the pillows. I do not recommend this place and will never stay again. Also, the pool is drained so just an empty eye sore that made for interesting conversation with my kids.
