This was a really wonderful and gorgeous little hotel within a stones throw from the plaza of Santa Domingo cathedral. It has a lovely roof-top terrace to enjoy cool evening breezes with views over the town. It is close to restaurants and other sites of interest. The hotel patron/host was really friendly and helpful and communicated well in English. I would highly recommend this hotel. Excellent value for money!

We got a no window room Nos dieron una habitación sin ventana, con una puerta que no aísla y adicionalmente una baño demasiado pequeño. Poco amable la gerencia para ayudar con el check in.

The hotel was in a really great location. The AC worked well, and gave us a nice break from the heat midday. The only downfalls were a musty smell in the room and firm beds.

Amazing location but thats it! Very bad internet and cellphone reception. Floors were HyPER dirty. You can see nobody cleans them. Our white socks were grey by walking there. Be aware that the rate is much lower on property than in Expedia

The location of this property is excellent and the main reason we chose it. As described the property doesn't have a restaurant or a lift so if you have luggage you may need to request a ground floor room. The property is traditional with cute little courtyards and a terrace. They definitely like the "Friar" theme and go all in with lots of religious iconography everywhere!! We didn't have the need for much interaction with the staff but seemed pleasant.

A/C is somehow programed by the hotel. It turns off after a while and shows an E. My shower door only had half of the glass so there was water everywhere. I reported and they said : " yes only half is needed to cover the toilet"
