Only disappointed that parking is not included with your stay. This is an extra charge. Parking for 1 car should be included. Otherwise nice place to stay.

We didn't get the beachfront room that we thought that we were getting. The room was nice though. We also didn't realize that there is a 20 dollar a day parking fee until we checked in and also a 40 dollar security hold. Those extra fees will keep us from booking with the Commander again.

The room itself was more than we expected and was very nice and conveniently located, but you have to pay to park even at the hotel you’re staying at and if you leave you need to park elsewhere, you are not guaranteed a parking spot

We enjoyed the ocean front view. The room was very clean and spacious. Disappointed that there was no ability to have the cool ocean air come into to our room overnight as there are no screens on the property and keeping the door wide open while we were sleeping is a bit unsafe. Having to pay $22 per night to park was a bit alarming especially for an off season stay. The hotel is at a quiet location on the boardwalk but felt like the parking fee was crazy.

Perfect off-season weekend beach trip!

Beautiful oceanfront view with private balcony. Spacious room. Very clean. I love having fridge, Microwave, and toaster! Love being able to enjoy the beach view, sounds, and air with sliding glass doors which we usually kept open. However, while I’m glad folks have the option to bring pets (at least in the off-season), it was hard to relax with dogs barking while our door to the balcony was open. Either they were on the balcony or near the open slider doors. We couldn’t see them but could hear them suddenly and it was jarring plus uncomfortable. All things being equal, I would not stay again solely for this single reason. I wish there was a better policy that wasn’t so disruptive to peace, quiet, and sounds of the beach & waves! If it doesn’t bother you, then definitely stay at the Commander.
