Our stay was very disappointing. The unit had a strong damp, musty smell that reminded us of a wet basement. When we intially walked in you were met with a bunch of those plug in air freshener that masked it for like 10 mintues of being there. It was uncomfortable and made the entire stay unpleasant.We also had an ant problem in the unit. They were crawling in our bed and all around us. After reporting it, we were told the owner would not authorize any treatment other than the rental company leaving us ant bait traps on their dime. Instead of addressing the issue, we were told the humidity was because the unit is on the ground floor and to keep the air conditioner running. Unfortunately, that did not resolve the problem.The bed was also extremely uncomfortable, very cheap mattress with a mattress cover, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep. The bed slanted downward as well and it doesnt lay flat when sleeping.What was most frustrating was the lack of accountability. We werent expecting a fancy hotel but we did expect a clean and comfortable place to stay.
