We enjoyed our stay--quiet place, not far to drive to the beach or kayaking. The table on the patio was lovely for dinner and breakfast. And we really appreciated the dog-friendly part. Our only problem was a toilet overflow. We called and texted but didn't get clear responses so lost some time waiting around for a repair person who never appeared. Things happen, but it seemed communication got a little mixed up.

We arrived for our stay while on vacation and upon our arrival the property had never been cleaned. The counter tops were never wiped down, there was opened water bottles and buzz balls on the counter. Couch cushions sticking out and pillows thrown. Floors never vacuumed or mopped with dog hair on the throw rugs and someone's toenail clippings on the floor. Upstairs there were dirty towels left on the floor and pillows still left on the ground. It was a disgrace and we did not feel comfortable staying there. We have been trying to get a refund back for over a week and have been getting the run around.

Bethany Marina 1. Upon arrival approximately 420 pm 8/25, the room was not cleaned from previous guests. The master bedroom bed was unmade and used towels were on master bath floor. Pics sent to contact phone2. Emptying our cooler: Opened freezer to find the ice maker broken causing ice/water on floor ( pic sent immediately upon finding this) 3. So now we’ve bought ice and laundry detergent, and we now take the sheets off the MBR bed. The mattress looks 50 years old with some gross looking foam pad on top (keep in mind most people wouldn’t have seen this thing). So now we decide to stay the 3 nites in BR 2 and not the MBR- picture of this mattress also sent to vue stay Delaware 4. There’s a nice coffee table in LR, opened the top to find a broken hinge. Sent pic to VueStay so u know I didn’t break it. 5. Now to the ground floor back patio. It has a large rack with kayaks, an outdoor table and chairs for 6 and a grill but no space left to use this area. Plus the sliding screen door was off the rails and leaning against the glass doors.6. And the outdoor Grill, which is specifically named in the ad, was absolutely gross, unusable, not cleanable. We had bought steaks, but now froze them to bring home and cook… also sent pics of this grill! 7. We stayed because we were traveling with a pet, had already unpacked and could not relocate at that pointI’ve requested a refund…. Waiting…..
