The check-in and check- out needs to better organized. The waiting period was too long; even with the welcoming refreshment, but besides that it was ok. Some of the staff were amazing like Nicole at front desk and the dining room staff. Maybe on next visit, there will be better improvements.

I liked that if you are having a bad day the staff will try to make it better. Glendon the bartender, Moya from the lobby and Renae from Spa truly made me feel welcomed and uplifted my spirit. The warmth of their heart resonated with me after the bad experience. These 2 persons are a gem to the Moon Palace experience. The some staff is so genuine. This is a beautiful attribute. However, the staff at the fitness club needs to be retrained.

It was my first time staying at Mont Palace. The beach is really calm and beautiful, but the food it was the worst food I have had at any other resorts and the place is really outdated and not very clean. I will not go back to this resort again.

This was my third trip to Moon Palace Jamaica. Resort looks nice as usual but seemed to be fully booked so I was comfortable with seeing soooo many people in every single space. There were long lines everywhere except the main buffet. I can only assume this is why the employees I met in the Boulangerie, Sushi Bar, Pizza and Panini areas seemed tired, and cranky. Special mention to Kemar in the main buffet who made my son especially feel very special during our stay. Had this been my first time, I may not have been keen to return.

The room and hotel were clean. The hosts at the front desk were the friendliest staff. Most staff were surprisingly unfriendly. The resort is very spread out and dark. The food was not elevated at the restaurants. The best food was at the International Buffet or the Jerk Hut. I was generally disappointed as I was expecting the beauty and luxury of a 5-star hotel and this was NOT it.

We stayed here for a couple of days. The hotel, food etc is fine. What ruined the trip for us was the high pressure sales of a time share/ holiday club. They harassed us into spending 2 hours of a short trip on a sales pitch. The guy who did the tour was lovely but this wasn’t how we wanted to spend a short vacation. We also waited 4 hours past check out for one of our rooms!!! The front desk area is just full of annoyed customers, due to misleading room credit, late check ins etc.

Moon Palace was an absolute gem for my 19 year old daughter and I. The staff were professional, extremely polite and friendly. The service was top notch. The place is well maintained with floors that are shiny and pristine. When we ate at a table they would approach us to ask if we needed anything more. They’d clean our table but we were still free to continue sitting and relaxing until we were ready to go. There were 6 restaurants on site with 4 of them requiring reservations. We only ate at the ones without reservations. The food choices were enormous. One restaurant had international food choices including a Jamaican station for local options. The food was buffet style self serve but you can order room service if you rather not dine in the restaurant. You unlock your room door with a wristband that must be worn from check in to check out. You are allowed to stay after check out at 12 noon and have lunch which begins at 1230. There are plenty of activities for all including a water slide for kids and a splish splash area. You can swim with dolphins. One pool is very long and there are multiple pools. Beach chairs and umbrellas are free on a first come first serve basis. You have plenty of free beach towels. The bed was comfortable. The salespeople in the lobby do try to upsell you more activities that you would pay additionally for, all to keep you onsite. That was annoying and we turned it all down. There was plenty of free activities. We will be back next year!!

I was very disappointed with my stay at this hotel. The staff were consistently rude and unhelpful, which made the experience unpleasant. The food was very bad with little variety, nothing close to what you would expect from a 5-star hotel. Overall, the service and quality did not match what was promised, and I would not recommend this property.

Great stayed! The hotel and Expedia upgraded our room to ocean view. Awesome property lots to do right in the ground, dolphins kayaking snorkeling- we did the catamaran. Such a vibe! Love the views from every where- the beach area clean and lots of chairs. Pretty knoll space- 3 in total. Many things to do around the resorts- SPA huge!! Biggest I even been, ice room pool many rooms. Food was good, buffet and like 4 other restaurant to eat from plus grill jerk chicken on the beach. Have so many things that went well, good time overall! Only draw back property is 1 hour 30 min from the Montego Bay airport.

Located perfectly on the most beautiful spot in Ocho Rios. Short walk or drive from major touristic attractions . We Loved the hotel spaces . Food options were vast and the restaurants were amazing . Everything super clean and the staff was so so nice and helpful always . Only issue - shower dispensers for shampoo and conditioner were terrible , had to resolve to use my mini ones because they would not work , and there was no body wash. Thank you for a lovely stay

Vegetarian food options are limited. Vege options were mixed with meat/seafood. Quality of fruit was sub optimal. Although papaya is available year around, option was not available when we were there. Disconnect between front desk/request call and service staff.

The rooms were very small bathroom was dirty smelled awful plumbing issues Management was not very concerned because they were very busy and overbooked Never would visit moon palace again in Jamaica food was not very good serving staff was not friendly
