Enjoy this waterfront home located on a small canal leading to the Pamlico Sound. Once Upon A Tide offers a wonderful getaway for kayakers and nature lovers. Enjoy panoramic views of the shallow water canal, neighboring salt marsh, and maritime forest from the dock with bench seating. Relax or dine on either the first-floor screened porch or second-floor deck, both offering wonderful views. Once Upon A Tide offers a reverse floor plan, contemporary furnishings, and amazing views for true relaxation. A first-floor media room features an 80-inch flat-screen TV, surround sound system, and Blu-Ray DVD player. 3 Bedrooms, 2.5 Baths: First floor has 2 bedrooms each with a Queen and shared bath. Second floor Primary Bedroom with King, TV, and private bath with shower. A small alcove on the first floor features a Pyramid Bunk Bed (Twin over Double) which offers flexible sleeping options (but does not allow occupancy over the 6 person limit). Amenities include complimentary SpaceX Starlink high-speed satellite Internet service, central air conditioning/heat, ceiling fans, 2 TVs, and a Blu-ray DVD player. The kitchen includes a wine refrigerator. Washer and dryer. Pack-N-Play. High chair. The exterior offers a waterfront deck with bench seating and screened porch each with a picnic table, plus a picnic table located by the grill. Park style charcoal grill, hot/cold outdoor shower, and fish cleaning bench. Two tandem kayaks. Life jackets are not provided, if you wish to rent them, please contact Ride The Wind Surf Shop. They will be happy to assist. Sheets and towels are provided. Beds are made for your arrival. No Smoking. No Pets Allowed. Parking is limited to 2 vehicles. No partial stays. Outstanding Views

The best water views of any coastal house we've ever rented! Amazing views of Pamlico Sound from the top deck. There are two flights of steps to climb from the parking area to the kitchen and main living area. Not a problem for us (ages 65-75). We especially enjoyed the kayaks and media room. This is an attractive (and affordable) option for two couples. Great place!
