Onsen in the hotel

Quaint hotel, but kind of dated on the inside. Room was comfortable. Located right next to the ocean front, the views are very nice. I tried out the Onsen on the rooftop and it was enjoyable.

Ok if you need to stay in Beppu

The room was cute and spacious. The onsen was lovely and honestly rooftop was mesmerizing. The staff were all warm and friendly and great. The location was very convenient as well. Unfortunately the walls are very thin and the bed was extraordinarily firm - so the noise and the discomfort were definitely issues for us. We had very loud neighbors across the hall. They did quiet down after 10, but were back up super early.

Nice Location near the two malls and the ocean. The hotel staff tries hard to keep the aging, cool hotel going. Enjoyed the Onsen on the roof three days in a row and chilled in the Relax Room.

This hotel is in a very convenient area near a bus stop. Good shopping and restaurants are nearby. The staff members are very friendly. Breakfast, Onsen on the roof, and the cool Relax Room are all great. We slept well here and will definitely come again.

Amazing customer service!

This is a great place to stay! The service here is amazing and they are very customer oriented. I accidentally left an AirPod and they found it and shipped it back with a nice hand written note. They also have a great lounge on the 10th floor with a nice view and a record player.

Old style but roomy and great location

Not a busy time of the season so very quite overall. Top floor sauna was great and rest area on 10th floor also was very cute. you can listen to music from old style turn table but music was "Frozen" which was surprised. Famous Toriten restaurant was right in front of back door . And great view from almost all of higher floors.

Very good service and good size room

The Aile service was very good. The staff were friendly and wold help with any problems. The room was of a good size and very clean. The hotel is a bit dated, but this is like a lot of hotels and so should not be a supprise. Breakfast was a good compromise between Japanese and Western breakfasts. Location is right by harbour. It is close to the main road which can create a bit of noise if the windows open, but did not cause us any issued. Very pleasant Hotel.

Very good hotel

The hotel is in a great location and the staff was very friendly. My room had a great view of the marina and park. Hotel has 2 onsens so that’s a plus if you’re into that. My room was very spacious, but there was a weezing sound from the air conditioning that occurred 2 of the 3 nights I was there. Very good proximity to the train station and shopping areas.

Great hotel!

Very nice hotel in the heart of Beppu. Close to restaurants and shopping. Onsen was clean and nice. Large rooms. Breakfast was very good as well. Nice retro vibe with a lounge on the 10th floor playing classic records.

Relaxing stay

Spacious, well-lighted room with a view. Furnishings (especially carpeting) are a wee bit worn but seem clean. Rooftop onsen is lovely. Location is walking distance from both the main train station and the Fukuoka airport bus, as well as a lot of restaurants.
