I have an understanding heart and have been to many hotels. However, this hotel has severely been neglected. I understand it was built in the 80s. So i expected some outdated things. However, the cleanliness of the hotel was just completely off putting. I have stayed in worse. But this was unsanitary. When we first arrived our impression was that the hotel had a funky smell of mold, cigarettes, and tons of overpowered spray to try and cover it up. I rented two adjoining rooms for 5 people. We were in rooms 326 and 327. When we got to the elevator it said out of order. So we walked up the stairs. The carpeting wasnt level and kind of squishy in certain areas. When arriving to the top floor you can see a cemented in builing in the middle that has rusted windows and corrosion everywhere. The fake dusty plants did not make it any better. When you look uo at the skylights the paint is flaking everywhere and the filters are chockeed full of debris and gross. Once inside our rooms, we inspected the beds. The bedding looked just fine and we didnt see anything wrong with it. Even though the bedding did have a strong fabric softener smell. So did the towels. They over softener their bedding. But the bed wasnt horribly uncomfortable. Above the beds, they have a wooden headboard that was covered in dust. The two lamps in BOTH of or rooms was covered in dust. The walls were patched everywhere...and my daughter found a bug in her closet. The grout in our bathroom was unclean.

The hot tub and pool were amazing! Wish the bar area stayed open longer and the breakfast buffet was at least cheaper. Also the noise from the AC was terrible and some of the front desk people were not very welcoming
