Okana resort review.

Overall, we enjoy the inside water park and outdoor beach pool. However, I wouldn’t stay overnight. First off, they didn’t find my reservation and had to trouble shoot it with the team after waiting in line for a while. The room was clean and ready earlier than expected which was a plus. However, I needed to come to front desk to activate my wristband EVERY single time I left my room along with my family members. Very frustrating. I tried to call resort front desk/reception without getting through to the phone system. I know it’s busy time but at least one person should be dedicated to picking up guest calls. The text message took hours to get back to us without assistance. Wristband was meant for conveniency and it’s anything but. I didn’t experience this at other resorts with same amenities. The nicest thing is a Spanish speaking cleaning lady let us into the room and refilled additional shampoo even when she speaks little English. To me, that’s the saving grace. Wish I have more nicer thing to say.

Had an amazing experience. Our 3 year old had the time of her life. She thoroughly enjoyed the beach, arcade and indoor waterpark. Cons: they did not offer room service. After a long day in the water you don’t want to go sit in a restaurant with kids. We had to go to the restaurant and order take out. Would be convenient if there was room service. Also if we can have microwaves, at least in the hallway on each floor would be great. Gotta warm kids food, milk etc. Overall we loved our stay and will be going again
