Week in Okrug

The apartment is exactly as described, spacious and bright. The hosts, who live on site, are charming and helpful, though we had some difficulties in communication. We speak English, French and Italian, whereas they speak Croat and German. But we managed. The house is located down a very narrow and steep lane, which is not unusual in Croatia. There is a small supermarket quite close but no public transport nearby. A car is really necessary. It takes 10 minutes to drive to the beautiful old town of Trogir, 15 minutes to drive to Split airport and 40 minutes to reach the centre of Split itself. There is a very small beach within walking distance of the apartment and the large "Copacabana" beach further away in Okrug. We spent a very enjoyable week here and can fully recommend this apartment.
