It was great for a weekend getaway the commute was reasonable from New York Area was quiet nice , clean and for the first ever there was NO Weed smoking which was so awesome!!! That has been a major problem everywhere we go ! We will definitely go back again !

Extremely friendly, a perfect New England setting. Nothing fancy but has great comfort a rustic type of atmosphere. The price was great, couldn't have ask for a better couple of days' vacation

Pier Blue Inn Old Saybrook

The property was nice on the outside, nicely renovated. Staff was very nice upon arrival. Room had an odor, we booked Double Queen room the beds were full size beds which my husband and myself were very uncomfortable sleeping. One of the beds had a stain on the sheets. The coffee maker wasn’t clean an old filter was left in it.My husband had to run hot water in it to clean it to make cup of coffee. It had a great restaurant across the street. I would have given the property an 10 but, the room situation changed the rating.

The room was so nice, clean, big and was so comfortable. Sima, the manager is so kind, caring and professional. The few other times I've been here, we alway strike up a great conversation. I always feel so welcomed. She always has a smile on her face and i notice she works so hard to make everything perfect. Monika, who works at the front desk is also so kind and always smiling. What a great experience. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a nice quiet and beautiful vacation or weekend getaway. I would give it 10 stars if it had it on here. Just a GREAT place to stay.

Great hotel experience at Pier Blue Guesthouse. Everything was perfect. I stayed over for a few days and absolutely loved in. The rooms are very clean, and quiet. Super comfortable beds. One of the rooms i stayed in had an ocean theme with a Sea Shell carved sink! Such great touches. The staff was terrific. Both managers Rick an Sima were so welcoming, friendly and kind. I even had great conversations with Sima and Rick. The whole experience made me feel so comfortable, and is the definition of a home away from home. Absolutely A , 5 Stars. I really look forward to staying there again.
