Welcome to The Golden Unicorn; an inviting adult-only retreat created to inspire magic and offer a chance to relax and reconnect. Our goal is to provide a premium vacation experience with character, charm and something a little different.

Located in the heart of Oliver boasting over 50 wineries within a 10 minute drive! The Golden Unicorn is just minutes from Tuc-El-Nuit Lake and walking distance to downtown Oliver. Come explore The Wine Capital's semi-arid climate and take in Oliver's stunning mountain views! We're just a 5 minute drive from The Golden Mile Bench & Black Sage Bench and 8 minutes from Oliver's District Wine Village.

You'll love the privacy of having the entire ground-level carriage house to yourself, while enjoying all the luxuries of a high-end establishment and more. You can rest easy knowing you won't be bothered by noise-transfer as you'll be enjoying your own fully-detached unit! We pride ourselves on our exceptional standards. We are now offering year-round hot tub access, which will be reserved for your exclusive use during your stay. The hot tub is located in the courtyard, between the guesthouse and our residence on a half acre parcel of land. Our guest's privacy is important to us! Rest assured, unless you are looking to talk to us, you won't see us walking your way!

You will love the spacious 625 sq.ft. open floor plan with a generous kitchen and new appliances. Professionally cleaned, and equipped with automated blackout blinds at the touch of a button. You will feel right at home in our well-appointed kitchen! Freshly renovated with all new appliances: retro-style fridge, dishwasher, 4 burner stovetop, microwave and farmhouse sink. Have a seat at the bistro table and enjoy a freshly baked homemade treat!

Indulge yourself and spend the evening in a luxe bathrobe. Easily adjust the temperature in any weather with our split air conditioning unit/ heat pump.

Put your feet up in our sophisticated lounge complete with a plush velvet sofa, classic leather armchairs, smart T.V., and even a Super Nintendo! We supply everything you could ever need to create amazing meals inside, or on your private grill just steps from your door. Any cooking utensils, pots, pans, oil, vinegar, cream, butter and basic spices are provided, as well as a variety of complementary snacks.

The space also functions as an art gallery for my guests with a selection of original art for sale currently featuring pen & ink unicorn drawings.

We offer ample free parking just minutes from the Area27 racetrack featured on "The Grand Tour" S2E10. With enough space to accommodate trailers, boats and race cars you will sleep soundly knowing our parking is surveilled with the option to close the gate at night.

You'll love exploring the magical semi-arid landscape, with plenty of hiking to enjoy in the area. Wander amidst the sagebrush and hike down the Golden Mile Stamp Mill trail and KVR trail. Mount Kobau offers breathtaking views sitting 1800+ meters above sea level. Mahoney lake ecological reserve is home to an array of birds and wildlife and is a wonderous sight to behold, with rolling meadows of yellow balsamroot flowers in the spring.
