Hotels with Balconies in Onslow

Fully self contained apartment, view overlooking the ocean, air conditioning and ceiling fans for comfort. Hotel restaurant was lovely, we had breakfast and dinner there. It’s really the only option in town to eat out other then the pub but would have chosen it anyway, lovely beachfront location and great spot for staircase to the moon viewing if you are lucky enough to be there at the right time. Staff were friendly and attentive. Walk over the road to a well stocked general store. Walk through town to the boardwalk which connects directly to sunset beach. Also take some time to check out the history of the town, it’s had a tumultuous past with cyclones and nuclear bomb testing and whole town relocation, but has lived to tell It’s tale, lots of information along the boardwalk. Some great sculptures and war memorial to ponder over too. Regeneration currently well underway following the most recent flooding. A lovely little town to enjoy a welcome break on our way back down South.

The seafood platter was absolutely delicious and well presented. The only done side is we were on the second floor, great view but slow to climb the steps with very old knees. No lift.

Clean tidy house, great for a few fella on a fishing trip.
