The cabin is situated in a quiet, secluded spot by Lake Skarvatnet in Oppdal, surrounded by mountains, water, and beautiful scenery all year round. Here, you’ll quickly feel at ease, whether you’re enjoying your morning coffee in front of the large windows or lighting a fire in the fireplace on chilly days. With few cabins nearby, the area feels quiet and private, giving you the sense of having the mountains all to yourselves.



The cabin is modern yet cozy and warm, featuring natural materials, large windows, and open living spaces that bring nature right inside. The kitchen and living room are combined into one large living area with high ceilings and views of the mountains and the lake. The large windows make the weather, light, and changing seasons a natural part of the experience.



With four bedrooms and two living rooms, there’s plenty of space for both shared meals and quiet moments on your own. The spacious entryway provides ample room for outerwear, shoes, and gear, and the cabin is equipped with both a shoe dryer and a towel dryer. The cabin has two bathrooms and a washing machine. Outside, you can enjoy long summer days with barbecues and quiet evenings around the fire pit. In winter, there are vast areas of untouched snow right outside.



Skarvatnet offers peaceful morning swims, fishing opportunities, and lovely walks along the water. In winter, cross-country ski trails run right by the cabin, and several summit hikes start right from the doorstep. Trollheimen and Dovrefjell are within easy reach, offering fantastic views and varied terrain. Oppdal town center, with its cafes, restaurants, and shops, is about 25 minutes away.
