Welcome to Hellehuset – a charming and fully renovated half-timbered cottage with a traditional thatched roof, located in the heart of the cozy village of Bybjerg on Orø. Here, you can enjoy a unique combination of authentic village charm, modern comfort, and the relaxed island atmosphere that helps you unwind from the moment you arrive.
The house is designed for two guests and offers everything needed for a comfortable stay, including a heat pump, washing machine, wireless WiFi, and TV with built-in Chromecast. One dog is welcome, provided it is not left alone in the house.
A cozy enclosed courtyard invites you to enjoy the morning sun with views of the village church, while the evening sun creates the perfect setting for long summer evenings of relaxation and togetherness.
Hellehuset is located next to the historic inn, the church, and the old village school, which together form the center of Bybjerg’s vibrant village life.
The inn is a natural gathering place on the island and serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Throughout the year, various events are organized, including courtyard concerts, communal dining, bingo evenings, and other activities for both residents and visitors.
