Disappointed and Frustrated
Booked a 2 bed studio and when I got there the room had one bed. Went to the front and the guy said they don’t have 2 bed studios- showed him my booking and the hotel.com site that clearly said 2 bed studio with a picture and description of 2 beds. He said that was a hotels.com issue as they didn’t have 2 bed studios and I should deal with them because there was nothing he could do. No phone # or email for hotels.com, just a virtual chat bot that doesn’t address issues. The desk clerk gave us bedding for my friend to sleep on the hardwood floor but no pillows. It was a terrible night sleep for both of us because I had to give her my blankets and a pillow for more cushioning on the floor. Frustrating that either hotels.com is misleading and selli g rooms that do not exist or hotel was not telling the truth because they overbooked.
And “free breakfast” is misleading- they had coffee, hot water for teas and oatmeal packets and wrapped mini muffins.
