As soon as you arrive, you're hit with construction that interferes with the pool area. Although I arrived early, I wasn't allowed to enter my room until after 4pm. All of the rooms in my party were way at the end of the property and shuttle service was hard to get, especially when there was no phone line in our room. Which is a hazard in case of an emergency. Winded up walking most of the time, especially to the main lobby to catch shuttle to get to Divi side for beach and restaurants. You also have to exchange used beach/pool towels at the only towel hut on the property. As opposed to your room attendant swapping out for you. Which is another trek since shuttle service is slow. Tamarijn side has more rocks and seaweed at there beach as well as fisherman which attract birds and seagulls trying to get in on the fishing as well. The Divi side is smoother, water is clearer but in some areas the construction on that side limits your ability to use the facilities. The food was pretty good. You have to make reservations for dinner at all the restaurants on both sides, if you choose late dining, you risk your order being screwed up and then told that the kitchen is closed. Very limited entertainment and nightlife on the property is non-existent. It's geared more toward a very mature almost geriatric demographic. Everything closes at 9:30 pm. Pool bar and grill stay open to 1am. No room service. They try to get you to go to a time share seminar. With the promise of 1 week vacation.
