Amazing stay. Nikki was welcoming, friendly, and informative. We loved being able to spend some time chatting with her. The home is gorgeous…decorated throughout in beautiful colors, accessorized with appropriate wall hangings, knick knacks, and lots of books! House was bright and had such a neat “vibe”. We were able to walk downtown, and found cute recommended eating places. Magnolia B &B was the essence of this town-sweet, small, friendly. We highly recommend staying with Nikki and taking in the history of the town as well as enjoying the water!

The owners went above and beyond in every way possible. No details were missed. The house was beautiful; the hosts gracious and helpful, and the food was divine. There were cookies, filtered water, and wine in the room for us- it was decorated beautifully and the bathroom was fully stocked with anything we could need.

This is a beautiful, well-appointed property. The owners were helpful and responsive, and we were treated like old friends. They had great recommendations for activities and dining options. The town of Oriental is quaint and has fun places to go, most within walking distance. The ocean is an hour away. Will definitely stay again!

We absolutely loved everything about this place! Nikki and Sean made us feel so welcome! We arrived to fresh out of the oven cookies followed by a golf cart tour of their beautiful, historic town. The breakfast was amazing and the afternoon Happy Hour was a delicious spread of local goodies that we had to search out to take home with us. You’ll want to spend the day on the front porch relaxing, but don’t miss walking around this historic town to see the beautiful homes and breathtaking waterfront. We even saw dolphins playing close to shore on our first day. We took the ferry to Beaufort which was a fun experience, and New Bern is only about a 30 minute drive and makes for a fun day trip! This is truly a hidden gem that we’d like to keep a secret, but it’s too good not to share!

Magnolia House Bed and Breakfast is housed in a home built in 1913. The house has been beautifully restored and maintained with the original floors, window glass and architectural features. The house and the room I stayed in were beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean. The owners are very friendly and helpful and you leave feeling like you had visited with a friend. The house was very quiet at night and was easy to find. There is a sign out front and ample parking in the rear of the house. The owners emailed me about dietary restrictions and graciously accommodated my needs. I recommend the Magnolia Bed and Breakfast without hesitation.
