The private front garden with table, chairs and parasol is fully tiled, has planted flower beds and leads up onto the extended patio area. The front door leads into a lounge diner with dining table & chairs, side board with English TV channels, DVD player and WiFi router. One of the sofas easily converts into a double bed. There is a downstairs W/C. First floor has both bedrooms and bathroom. Staircase leads to the private roof terrace with sun loungers, table, washing line and cold water shower. The house is equipped with hot & cold air conditioning, ceiling fans, 2 lightweight sun loungers, sun umbrella, inflatables, balls, cool box and BBQ.

Another fantastic stay

This is our second long stay at Casa Berlingo and we immediately felt at home again. Everything that you could need is already provided. We enjoy good meals and live entertainment and there we are surrounded by a large, good quality choice within short walking distance. The 2 communal pools are well looked after and are not busy. Communication with Chris, Stacey and Ange (who looks after the house) is very smooth. There are many places to visit and great, inexpensive day coach trips. Highly recommended.

Perfect location and everything we needed!

We had a lovely stay at this property which had everything we possibly needed, including beach chairs etc. The house was impeccably clean and comfortable and the air conditioning in the bedrooms was brilliant. Beds were comfy too! The property was in a great location, easy parking, bars and restaurants within easy walking distance and lots of places to visit by car. The 2 pools were lovely and never felt too crowded either. The booking process and communication from the owner was perfect and Angie the keyholder was lovely.

An amazing experience!

The house and the resort had everything to make us feel at home for the 10 weeks. Chris was very helpful and quick to answer questions and give tips. Angie, the key holder, was also such a nice person and on hand whenever required. The selection of restaurants was superb, we were spoiled for choice and most had entertainment much of which was to our taste. Discovered a great sport to watch (Padel) which was hosted not far from us at El Capitan. The two pools were like private pools as on most occasions they were no others there. We had a trip up the coast to Benidorm then Valencia for 5 days which was excellent plus we went on a couple of the many coach tours available. We went for day trips to Cartagena and Altea. As if the weather was not a good enough reason to go, there is something for everyone. You would have a great, relaxing base at the Casa Berlingo for your holiday.

Great apartment, great location

The property was very well maintained and offered us everything we could want from a holiday let. It was situated about a 10 minute walk to a variety of bars, restaurants and supermarkets.

Excellent break away.

A spotlessly clean and tidy villa, with a well stocked kitchen. Everything and more you need to make a full meal or just prepare a snack. The beds were clean and very comfortable with a change of bedding available should you need it. Plenty of towels for use in the villa. Communication from both the owners and the management company in Spain was excellent and very responsive. The pool area is just lovely, clean and tidy with hand sanitiser available should you need it. Great choice of local supermarkets, restaurants and cafes to choose from with a few within walking distance. The only negative for us was the internet, it was a little intermittent if more than one person was using it. If you are looking for a lovely place to stay we cannot recommend this villa enough.

9 Week Stay

Stayed here for a total of 9 weeks, absolutely loved it. Great house, in a great area close to everything. Used it as a base while we looked to buy a property, great place to relax. Would definitely recommend staying here if you want a nice, relaxing break close to all amenities.

Lovely place to stay!

The house is lovely, with lots of spaces to sit out on the various floors. Lots of equipment in the kitchen, and the beds for the pool and beach are really useful. The two pools were just stunning! Beautifully kept, and spotlessly clean. Views of the sea from 1st and top floors were an added bonus!

Unfortunate timing

The town house was okay but there was a shortage of cupboard space and work surfaces in the kitchen. We also had a problem setting up the WiFi and television as we had been given the wrong password. We booked this property for four weeks but only stayed for six nights as we arrived on the 13th March and had to return home due to the current situation so didn’t get to see much of the surrounding area. We contacted the owner of the property but he didn’t seem that interested or bothered as it took him two days to reply. We are both retired so have limited income and we were really looking forward to our stay. Very disappointed so would not recommend anyone else book this property.

Great holiday, lovely house!

Lovely house. Everything you need, well equipped. We hired a car from the place that was mentioned in previous reviews and were able to get out and about. The only down side was that the garden didn’t get the sun. The sun is too low in the winter. However, there are foldable sun loungers in the house so we just popped round to the pool area, which was beautiful and had the sun all day. Chris and Tracy were great in communication. We would recommend this property to anyone who wants to be near amenities. There are numerous bars and restaurants nearby within a short walking distance. Thank you for having us Chris and Tracy!

Great place to stay

Really enjoyed our stay at Casa Berlingo....no issues whatsoever. Can just echo what other people have said on here....home from home...well equipped, comfy bed, Sky Tv, Wi-Fi, and in a nice quiet location. Was going too hire a car but didnt bother, and to be fair, most places are within easy walking distance. 10 min walk to shopping complex where there are places to eat/drink..supermarket which was really good. A further 10 min walk down to the seafront. We walked into Playa Flamenca which is about 10-15 min walk and also walked to La Zenia Boulevard Shopping Centre which is about 25 min walk....well worth visiting for a bit of retail therapy... Plenty of places to eat and can certainly recommend Dynastia Chinese on the main road by the blue bridge...dont normally do chinese on hols but the place is well worth going to... Patio Andaluz just on the main road past McDonalds is worth going to, but go on a night when there is Flamenco/music on...and book it as it was busy...great atmosphere. Two other places to try are Cellar Door where they do a tasting menu(fantastic) and The Fig and Olive Restaurant which is another great place for good food...both in Playa Flamenca and easy to walk to....check them out on trip advisor. (other eating places are available...lol) Had good comms with Chris from booking to arriving and being picked up at the airport by Ray who was a really nice guy and very helpful... All in all would highly recommend a stay here....we went to look at the area with a view to possibly buy and we will definitely be going back again for another look.

Brilliant Holiday! Lovely property would recommend.

Great holiday home, home from home. Everything you needed, including WiFi for kids, pool/beach toys, cool box etc. Hired a car and were able to explore the area. Beautiful beaches, great find was Moncayo Beach in Guadamar - could hire a Cabana for the day (4 poster sun bed). Waterpark was good fun too. Really good Indian restaurant near hand called Ranvir near Consum Supermarket. Great food and service. We will be back.

Spacious house in a quiet location

We stayed at Casa Berlingo for 3.5 weeks in March. The house is spacious, and welcoming. It is home from home with everything you need, including a shopping trolley if you do not have a car. Lovely front terraces and roof terrace. The beds are very comfortable and plenty of wardrobe space. The bathroom is spacious, shower good, hand wash provided. The 2nd toilet downstairs was useful.. The washing machine worked well and plenty of places to hang the washing on the roof or outside the back door. TV has English channels and Netflix which was great. Ray picked us up from the airport which worked well and he and Karen were on hand during our stay. ( We hired a car from rentmecarehire.es during our stay) 10 euro a day fully insured. We know the area fairly well but tried a few new restaurants. We loved Yu in the Punta Marina shopping centre. Captains Table, good breakfasts and homemade chips! Nautilus is a great place by the sea. All within in walking distance. We also enjoyed Eduardos in VillaMartin for Sunday lunch. Tasca in Torreveija ( near the market huts) Ice cream Parlour on the esplande Samooy. All of our communication with Chris was very easy. We can highly recommend this house. This location is excellent for exploring the coastline down to Cabo de Palos and Mazaron/Cartgena. North to Guadamar, :La Mata, Santa Pola.

Nice house with lovely views

Really enjoyed our holiday here, nice house, everything you need is there. Lovely views from the roof solarium. A huge storm took out the Internet, and TV, and took a while before we were able to get it sorted. Good communication with the owners all the way through, and we enjoyed our stay.

Having stayed at the Villa many times you might expect standards to drop, but they never have from the first of many visits, always the same standard of care has been taken in making sure the Villa is spotless, and everything you need to have a pleasant stay is in place, the key holders are absolutely the best with nothing being any trouble should you have it, which you won't have.

Very clean, well equipped - lots of beach equipment etc, Fantastic pools - clean with plenty of shade if you want it. Basketball courts and tennis courts near by. Spacious home- has all you need - good fridge/freezer , pots pans etc. Comfortable beds - good A/C and WiFi. Our kids loved it!

We have just returned from a fantastic 2 weeks away in this apartment. The apartment itself is very good, spacious and very clean and tidy. Two good sized bedrooms with plenty of wardrobe space, beds very comfortable with plenty of pillows. Outside space was brilliant, comfy chairs and patio table and chairs at the front of the property, balcony off the main bedroom and a roof top terrace with loungers –Perfect! The Wi Fi was very good with English TV. Good location, you don’t need a car as everything is in walking distance. Restaurants, bars and super market less than 15 minutes walk. The owners Tracey & Chris were lovely to deal with, as was Ray who looks after the apartment and collected us from the airport. Thanks for a great holiday! Ally, Mark & Max

Very comfortable stay in a quiet residential area

This is a great place to stay if you wish to be a little distance from the main lively areas but a comfortable 10 minute walk to get to local restaurants or a little further if you want greater choice nearer the main part of town. The two pools are very clean with plenty of space to use sunbeds etc. The property has plenty of space and is well maintained. The sundeck area at the top is a nice extra. Easier if you have a car as things like supermarkets are a fair distance and we found it was better to use this for going to areas such as Punta Prima beach where parking was readily available, even in July.

We had an amazing time at Casa Berlingo. Tracy and Chris were very helpful, all the way through booking the place, to helping with a hire car, to making sure we knew which restaurants to visit. We just spent a really relaxing 10 day break here. The rooms were spacious and the beds were really comfortable. The kitchen had everything you could need. The shops were a ten minute walk away so very convenient, There were a restaurants and bars within walking distance. The best being The Central Grill, underneath The Blarney Stone. Looking forward to returning hopefully next year

Spring Girly Break

Six nights away with the girls - lovely clean, home from home, accommodation with everything you need. The sun was shining so we took advantage of the sun terrace as well as going to the beach. There are plenty of places to eat out catering for all tastes or the villa was well enough equipped that you could stay home to eat too - there are two supermarkets about 10 minutes walk away. We also spent an afternoon at Zenia Boulevard Shopping Centre which was about a 40 minute stroll away but worth the walk if you enjoy shopping! All in all an enjoyable and comfortable week away.

Great Xmas break

Another lovely holiday at the Casa Berlingo. Spotlessly clean with everything you need for a comfortable stay. This time we hired a car so that we could travel around. Would recommend Los Alcazares (nice town with nice beach) and Cartagena (Large port with loads to see). Had lunch at the Nautilus in Punta Prima. Nice food with lovely views. Thanks Chris and Tracy for all your help and advice.
