The host was very accommodating and helpful. We booked last minute, so options in the area were limited, and we appreciated the availability. However, there were a few issues worth noting. The property allows dogs, but there are gaps along the fence line where a small dog could easily get out. The yard had mostly dead grass—possibly due to weather or lack of irrigation—which resulted in a lot of dirt being tracked into the home.Inside, the house could use some updates and deeper cleaning. The main tile floors were quite dirty and would benefit from a thorough steam cleaning; I would not feel comfortable having small children play on them. The furniture is older and could use refreshing. The kitchen was also understocked with cutlery—although the home sleeps seven, there were only four sets of utensils available. Additionally, there were several cars parked across the street that did not appear to move and had expired license plates, which slightly impacted the overall impression of the neighborhood.The house did have nice bathrooms and a nice office if you work remotely
