Close to the convention center making a convenient choice. Plus, I needed a bit of getaway. However, it was expensive in my opinion for an experience that wasn't that special. Hyatt could do better. It's a beautiful facility with nice people working there, but as soon as we checked in, we got hit with an unexpected fee that ate some of my play money. Was told it would be refunded after we checked out IF we didn't spend it. You also pay a resort fee. If you plan to use their facilities, great. Otherwise, it's another drain on the wallet. Didn't need trolley tickets. Didn't need pool access, didn't need free champagne, and our free water we had to ask for at the front desk which seemed petty, but hey we paid a hefty price for it. I don't know what the $10 F and B even means (food & beverage?), but we didn't get it. My daughter did use the gym & said it was great. Room was smaller than expected. Not much walking room. Large bathtub. I liked that there was a nightlight in bathroom that would come on when you used it in middle of night. Small thin blankets (like a sheet really) so bring your own. If you have neighbors, you'll hear what they're up to. On checkout, received a bill for my stay, but what they pulled from my account was over a $100 more than the bill and of course accounting is closed until weekday. A two-night stay ended up costing us over a grand after all the fees were added. If you can afford it, great. If not, I'd try elsewhere. It just wasn't that special.
