Wonderful Vacation Home!!

Stayed for a week long trip with family! The house was exactly what we were looking for. The private feel at the house with a pool the kids had to them selves, but also the close proximity to the clubhouse with so many amenities and things to keep us busy! Will definitely stay again!

The place was very nice. The kitchen pans were not very good for cooking. (They were in terrible shape.) We did bring our own. We were thinking about a family reunion because of all the bedrooms and bathrooms. It would be a perfect place.

Nice property - questionable amenities

First let me say this was our first time using VRBO. The property itself is very nice, clean and all the beds were all very comfortable. The 12 cup coffee pot did not work, however there was a 4 cup coffee pot to use, but with 10 adults drinking coffee that was a big pain. When we contacted the property owner, he said to go and buy one at walmart and he would reimburse me. Why should we buy a coffee maker, for someone we don't know? The first morning we were there, we noticed cockroaches. We immediately contacted the property manager, and they said they would take care of it. However, no exterminator ever came during our stay. They did however come and fix the wifi which was also down. We paid extra for heating the pool & hot tub, and for the grill. However, the heater for the pool & hot tub was not working. And the grill burners were not functioning properly (not sure when the last time it was cleaned properly), even after we paid to fill the propane tank. One of the conditions to use the grill was cleaning it after we used it, however there were no grill cleaning brushes to use to do this. Not sure how we were supposed to clean it. There are two washers and dryers, which is nice with the number of people we had staying. however, one of the washing machines was not working properly, so we were down to one. And the night before we left, we were shocked to receive an email asking us to strip all the bedding and wash it before we left. Very hard to put all the bedding in one washing machine given the number of beds we used (all of them)! After our visit, we contacted the "owner" and asked for a refund for the extra we paid for heating the pool/hot tub and the grill. He responded that he would make sure all the items for which we contacted him were taken care of. But, he would not give us a refund. He said the best he could do was comp us a free night the next time we were in Orlando and rented from him. We told him, based on our experience, we would not be renting from him again. We're not sure how many properties this individual is "renting", but it is very apparent he has not actually visited the property in a long time, if at all. There are several items which need repair, which we did inform him about, but didn't affect our stay. We didn't expect hotel amenities, since this was a rental, but we did expect to be able to use everything we paid for. This was not the case.

I have sent a personal message to the property owner and will not make any of the comments public. I think he needs to address some things to make his property more appealing and pleasant for his clients. I would wonder, though, why this property uses an exterior picture of the house next door?

All StarCheerleading Championship Last Minute Vacation Rental

We decided at the last minute literally less than 20 days from D1 Summit ( the Final Cheerleading Competition of the Season) Reservation was seamless.. Communication was with the owner was automatic.. all questions that I asked were answered with no problems at all and in a timely manner. The house is gorgeous with plenty of room for my family of 15. We were never crowded and the backyard pool amenities provided hours of entertainment for my group ranging in age of 12 months to 45 years old. The Clubhouse Amenities did not disappoint... we spent hours enjoying the lazy river. Definitely will be renting this house again next year. Chauntyl A.

For the money-we would stay again! Not the best but definitely not the best.

Pros: Renting process and communication with the owner/management was great, the size Of the house was great for our party of 13 with plenty of Seating inside and outside, easy 10-15 drive to the theme parks, the pool/hot tub was great at night time (once it got hot), pack-n-ply (not a crib) and high hair available but not clean, resort water park was nice (except chairs not the cleanest) and 1 min walk from the house, 2 washers and dryers available. Cons: - ice maker didnt work -2 days spent trying to get the hot tub and pool to actually heat (had to call 3-4xs)-paid those 2 days and the pool wasn’t even at the breaker -was told there was a “crib” but still in a box and not assembled -pots/pans on-site but terrible for cooking. -air didn’t work in one of the upstairs master bedrooms (just used a box fan) -area around pool was not clean/picked up (toys and food all Over the ground) -not enough bath towels and hardly any bath cloths or hand towels for a large party and no beach towels available so bring your own for the resort water park. -pool table was fun for the kids but wobbly and smaller in size. Overall it was 50/50. Not the best but def not the worst we have ever stayed. For the money, we would stay again.

Family Reunion

This is a review for our stay in August 2019 Pros: Front lawn was neatly manicured. Very spacious, plenty of room for everyone in our party. The pool and patio area was clean. Both sofa sectionals upstairs and downstairs was clean and comfortable. Cons: Ceiling fan in the downstairs living room does not work. When we opened the remote to see if it was a battery issue, the battery was warped (not sure how long it has been like that) Carpet in the master bedroom downstairs was filthy and soiled especially at the entrance to the bedroom (shampooing the carpet can be an easy fix) Walls throughout the house especially going up the stairs were dirty. Carpet runner was also dirty. One of the barstools leg rest was broken (which was also mentioned in a previous post) not sure if it was the same barstool. I immediately emailed the owner and he showed up the next day unannounced to fix it. I also informed him of the filthy grill to which he returned another day to clean it but did not let us know that he came by to clean it. In the twin bedroom, the headboard was loose, the icemaker still broken (also was mentioned in a previous post) Brown towels? I’ve stayed at plenty of airbnb and homeaway and I’ve never had to wash my towels before I check out and I’ve never had towels other than white ( not sure if these are Florida standards).  Furthermore, the owner is entrusting that the current tenant to “wash” the towels prior to checking out. Everyone’s cleaning habits are different and who’s to say they used detergent and/or just placed used towels in the dryer (which we found when we checked in on Sunday)

Property was large and well furnished. Unfortunately it could have been cleaner. It was obvious that the cleaners done the bare minimum and the property had not had a deep clean for some time. They had not cleaned under beds or settees. The BBQ had not been cleaned. Once we advised the remote owner he had the management company send cleaners. This should have been checked before we arrived.

Beautiful home, warm pool, great for large families. But needs a few fixes/updates.

We had 16 people staying in this house we never felt crowded or on top of each other. The owner is very easy to work with,but be aware we we're charged an international transfer fee from our bank that we were not aware was going to be billed as we were not notified in the quote or told money would be transferred overseas to Dublin Ireland. I'm pretty sure vrbo caused this fee to occur and not the rental owner. The house is very close to the resort club house. Very convenient walking distance. The lazy river was warm and great, the water park toys were a hit too. The free arcade was fun. The pool heat and spa at the rental house were the warmest I've ever encountered while renting vacation homes. We spent alot of time in the pool and spa due to how warm and comfortable they were. It was well worth the extra $$ for the heat. The beds we're comfy. The air conditioning was just right. I would rent this house again however there were some cons to this wonderful home. One of the dryers had a hole in the tumbler which made it unable to use during our stay, the handle was broke off the other dryer which was a little annoying. The ice maker in the fridge did not work. The kitchen faucet was broken. Coffee maker didn't work right. One of the bar chairs was wobbly and we couldn't use in fear of breaking it. There was mouse poop in the BBQ and storage underneath it. After cleaning it as good as we could we tried to use it. The hood over the BBQ didn't work and over smoked the house/pool area causing the smoke alarms to go off. You cant get 4 SUVs in the driveway/garage as we could hardly fit 3. They will not tow you away for parking in the street as we had numerous cars parked in front of and beside our driveway making it very hard to get in and out of the rental, very annoying. The dryers are located in the garage and parking a suv in the garage made it hard to do laundry. The floor in the garage got very slippery after we drove through a thunderstorm and parked inside. It caused an elderly guest of ours to fall. All of which we reported to the owner and got a "no problem we will take care of that" "thanks for letting us know". We never saw any of it get fixed or management come in. We would like to make sure this stuff gets maintained and fixed, because it is a lot of money for the week for all of the amenities not to be working or taken care of. Over all we had a great time and would like to come back. Thanks for making us some great memories.
