This was my second time staying at this property, I love the overall location that it is to everywhere, the community is lovely and quiet, the communication with the host is always prompt. The only small input I’d provide is the primary bedroom in the door way to the bathroom kinda sticks up and I caught my foot on it a few times. Just had to be mindful but a fix would be nice. I’d definitely book again. Thank you!

We informed the owner the lock was not working and they failed to get it taken care of leaving us locked out of the unit with refrgierated food for an hour- which is how long it took a technician to come look at it. When we were first locked out I called to get help and was hung up on. The technician could not get it working either so used a code to open the lock box for keys which is something that could have been done instantly so we were not waiting in the heat and humidity. Then, almost 20 days later, the owen tries to bill me for damage to a toilet that would not flush BUT is a result of normal wear and tear. (Please Jean, like i am playing around in the tank of a toilet of anywhere but especially at a stranger's property.)In addition there were pee stains and a smell of urine when we entered the property.I do NOT recommend you stay here!

Family vacation

The location is amazing close to everything Disney shopping, etc.… The furniture is very outdated and worn. The pool was not clear or clean until the morning that we were leaving. I thought it was supposed to be green because of the bottom I assume that was the way it was painted to be… The dishes are chipped and dirty. The silverware tray had food in it but I would have wash it all anyway. There was a broom, but no dustpan I left one for the next renter. The shower doors kept coming off of the track. We found shoes, socks, random trinkets throughout the house that I assume were from previous renters because they were under beds and drawers. It did not ruin our stay. I always rushed through a house if I do rent one and clean it before my family shows up anyway.

Poorly Managed by American Star

This house is in a great location and has so much potential but it is poorly managed by American Star. It was not professionally cleaned. We did not receive face cloths. The Mickey Mouse pillow cases in the kids room were not washed. The BBQ we paid 49 to use was corroded and falling apart. The sliding door screen was torn. Half way through the week the gate code changed and we were not notified. Then to top it off we were charged 300 in damages for a bleach stained beach towel and a dirty bath towel. The host Jean was very responsive but I think she needs to visit the property personally to see the shape it’s in before allowing guests to be charged damages.

We could not get a passcode to get in until well after our check in time. 1 hour. 1 towel per person is skimpy, 1 dish towel, 1 roll of toilet paper per bath. Front gatr was perdonel was wonderful

3BR at Encantada Resort

The home was very warm and inviting. Everything in lines of household items that we needed for our stay were included. Access to the resort and surrounding attractions was very easy. There are plenty of stores and restaurants nearby. I would definitely stay there again and would recommend it to friends and family.

Great location

We stayed for about a month as I was looking for a home. This is a great location with very few long term residents. We did listen to a few 4AM scream sessions but that's Orlando. Everything was great for the price we paid with the exception of pest control which was just a guy with a can of raid who didn't listen to me telling him about the roaches upstairs lol.

Nice Property but Questionable Security

The property was fine but 1/2 way into our trip we returned from being out and the door was wide open. Nothing was stolen, but I don’t think the door was open long (no bugs inside, temperature was still relatively cool). The property management was quick to indicate we must have left the door open, but my adult daughter and I locked it together- I know it was locked. We wanted the door code reset which should have been simple but they sent a technician out who couldn’t do it in a 90 minute visit. This causes me to question how often the door code is changed. We were provided a key from the lockbox (which was UNLOCKED). I never felt safe there.

Perfect stay!

My husband has stage 4 cancer & after a week of chemo, we needed a little getaway close to home, that would accommodate all of us - we parents, teen children, & 2 rescue pups. The house was beautiful, perfect, super clean, well stocked with everything we might need. It is so conveniently close to every Orlando attraction & restaurants. The host answered any questions we had beforehand & during. It was such a pleasure dealing with them. Thank you so much for being exactly what we needed, to escape reality for a few days & make more family memories. Our only complaint was that we weren't staying longer. Thanks again! Hope to stay there again in the future.
