I liked the location. The door to the room was weak and hard to open. I felt like it was going to break in half. Upon entering our room, we were hit with a terrible stench. The carpet was filthy and stained. The bathroom door would not close, the hinges were rusted out and the door seemed to be too big. There were stains and splashes as if something exploded in the bathroom.

upon check in we were given a room that was not cleaned (at all, it still looked like someone was living in it) went back to check in for a new room, got a clean one. clean as in beds made and not messy, but the room itself was very very run down. on the carpet you can tell there might’ve been a flood, therefore it also smelled very musty. the paint on the ceiling outside of the bathroom over the sink kept peeling and falling off randomly??? our first night someone who worked there banged on our door (at midnight) accusing us of putting one of the room chairs outside on the walk way…. wasn’t us obviously we had no clue how it got there thankfully we weren’t asleep yet, there were also people constantly beeping in the parking lot all hours of the night. we only used the room to sleep in so it did its job for what we needed, anyway we were very surprised at our findings of this place seeing it has a 4 something star rating on expedia and an 8 something on hopper??? it’s a 2.7 on google FYI.

A place from hell

It is the second time I reserve through this platform and have to admit is sad the conditions and pictures populated are not monitored prior to post hotels. This place was simply terrible. Black mold everywhere, clogged showers with lots of hairs, not working fridge, disgusting carpets and smell, ETC. I went to lobby, which is the only clean area in the place and asked to switch room and the lady refused to do so and the place was not full. No wonder probably all was same.

Worst hotel experience.

False advertising! The pictures compared to reality were completely 180 degrees of one another. The sprinklers were rusted and looked like it couldn’t even save itself from a fire, the doors looked like they were already termite infested with missing decorative pieces, the doors did not close properly, and we had roaches! The whole place could use a renovation if they want their ads to reflect the truth. Yes, booking was cheap but for the experience, not worth it!

One of the Worst Hotel Experiences – Don’t Be Fooled by the Pictures This hotel was a complete disappointment. It looked nothing like the photos online. When we arrived, our room door was wide open — which made me feel really unsafe. Once inside, it only got worse: the bathroom was filthy, the rugs were disgusting, and the entire room smelled horrible. The air conditioning was insanely loud, making it nearly impossible to sleep. The breakfast area was very poor, with barely any options. It’s clear this hotel is in desperate need of maintenance — our bathroom sink was stuck and barely usable. The only saving grace was the staff. Marie and Luis were incredibly kind and helpful. Marie helped us switch to a slightly better room, and Luis brought us some ice when we asked. They truly went above and beyond, but sadly their kindness wasn’t enough to make up for how bad everything else was. We ended up leaving a full day before our check-out because we couldn’t take it anymore. I absolutely do NOT recommend this hotel.

We arrived after a long day at the beach to find our bathtub clogged. Disgusted but exhausted, my kids and I showered in water just below our knees. We decided to brush it off and wait until the next morning to report the issue. We told the front desk the bathtub was clogged at 7am the next day and asked for it to be fixed while we were at Disney. Front desk said she would let maintenance know. We came back around midnight from Disney, hoping the problem would be fixed and it wasn’t. Very very upset with our stay here.

Let me start by saying id always defend maingate, saying it's like the spirit of hotels, cheap, not super fancy, but it was clean. I stayed numerous times and it'd be my go to hotel for park visits with its free transportation. I've visited for the first time in 3 years and my opinion has changed We flew in and got to the hotel around 1 am. After check in, we walked to our room, room 160 on the other side of the complex. Which honestly no big deal. When we entered my gf needed to use the restroom, not a single scrap of toilet paper, im which i jad to walk to front desk to get some. While looking through the room noticed the freezer in the fridge was completely blocked with ice. The spackling they did on the wall was terrible and horribly lumpy. But being too tired to reqlly care we crawled in to bed. Aftwr noticing the one blanket had "love stains" we decided to share the cleanest blanket. On our walk to the room, the whole wing smelled of marijuana, whcih again, no big deal, do you but there was no enforement of no smoking. All ice machines we passed were not working. The next morning we went to get breakfast, whcih, bare bones as it was, it wasnt terrible. While waiting for our shuttle we wanted to ch3ck out the game room. We put 4 tokens in the boomerang game and the air came on, but no puck, when i told the front desk, she was dismissive and acted like she didnt care and waved us off. Long story short, save money for a better hotel. drastically.

Horrible experience the pictures of property vs what you actually see in person doesn’t match. Checking in seem great went to view our room in area 7 and soon as we opened the door it smelled so bad Mildew on ceiling walls and corner of floor where the rug was peeled off and tub was dirty, the toilet had urine in it for who knows how long sheets were dirty and walls had ripped paint and splashed from maybe soda/juices I have pictures from as soon as we walked in because I was in disbelief. I went to the front to request a new room which was in area 4 was no better the mildew smell was just all over. No way I could’ve stayed there with my 3 daughters 13 yr old with asthma and baby who I wouldn’t even allow to crawl around. 3rd time to go back to front office was told manager would be in at 4pm, hung around said she was late 5 pm came she apparently still hasn’t made it in but the young girl at the front made a call and told me to wait until she’s done interviewing. Waited another 45 mins never came down the front desk girl was completely oblivious and had a bad attitude her coworker intervened and apologized for everything asked what happen so I informed her. I asked would she sleep in there with her kids and she said NO its not safe. She made a phone call to management and told me to contact Expedia To get refunded that they will approve due to room conditions but the hotel itself hasn't answered any outreaches from Expedia.

Terrible stay

The worst experience my family has had. The room was awful with broken mini fridge door and night stand handle, dirty bathroom mirror and stains on carpet. Smelled of mildew and shower was unclean. I would have given this place 0 stars but that was not an option. Pictures on website were not truthful and this place was the pits!
